Maria Chike was the 17th housemate to enter the BBNaija season 6 ‘Shine Ya Eye’ show on July 25, 2020. Unfortunately, she was evicted yesterday from the reality TV show alongside with two other housemates.

Maria’s eviction last night came as a big surprise to BBNaija viewers because it is believed she is one of the housemates with the highest number of fan base.

Throughout Maria’s stay in the BBNAIJA house, she gained the likes of so many viewers and because of how she played the Wild Card game from the beginning of the show with Pere, and when she was asked by Biggie to prank her fellow housemates last two weeks that they would be eviction, she did excellently well while carrying out the two assignments given to her by Big Brother.

Maria wouldn’t have been evicted last night from the show, but she made a mistake that made BBNAIJA lovers supported Cross and Queen more than her.

Nominating Whitemoney Twice For Eviction

Maria first nominated Whitemoney for eviction when Biggie gave her and Pere the veto power to do so after they successfully played the Wild Card game. During their last week’s nomination, she was the only housemate who nominated Whitemoney for eviction again.

Nominating Whitemoney twice for eviction made BBNaija viewers feel she has hatred for Whitemoney in the house. Therefore, instead of Whitemoney’s fans voting for her last week, they rather voted for Cross and Queen because they are both on good terms with Whitemoney.

However, Maria, who was interacting very well with Whitemoney from the beginning of the show, later stopped relating to him, because she felt Whitemoney hated her.

Therefore, if Maria, had confronted Whitemoney to clear her doubt, she would have not made the mistake of nominating him twice for eviction, and Whitemoney’s fans would have voted for her last week and saved her from eviction.

Opinion Biafra Motherland Warrior: A New Militant Group In The South-East That Should Be Stopped

It is no longer news that for a while now, the South-East region of Nigeria has been under serious attacks by unknown gunmen alleged to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN). The activities of the group have led to the destruction of many Police Stations, and some other government infrastructures in the region, with several lives lost in the process.

Despite the efforts being made by the government and security agencies to end the incessant attacks on security formations in the region, the gunmen have continued to carry out their activities without the fear of apprehension. As many Nigerians have continued to condemn the killings in the region, another militant group which is alleged to be deadlier than the ESN has emerged in the region.

As obtained from the Daily Trust, the group, identified as Biafra Motherland Warrior, is currently operating within the Mbaise area of Imo State. Following this report, it is arguable that there is a need to stop the activities of the group. It should be recalled that at the peak of the unknown gunmen attack in the South-East, many innocent lives were wasted. As such, any other group whose activities are capable of causing chaos in the region should be stopped.

As gathered from the Daily Trust, the Biafra Motherland Warrior, which is alleged to be more deadly than the Eastern Security Network, is equally targeting security agencies in the South-East region. With this in mind, one may not be wrong to say that if nothing is done to stop the activities of the group, now that it has not gone out of hand, it could metamorphose into something that could set the region on fire once again.

You will agree with me that if the ESN had been stopped at its earlier stage, it would not have become a serious security threat in the South-East region. Therefore, the relevant authorities should, as a matter of necessity, stop the Biafra Motherland Warriors’ activities before it becomes too late.

Is Zuma Not Supposed To Be In Hospital?- The Picture That Has Left Many Confused

Former President Jacob Zuma was reportedly in hospital a few weeks ago following an undisclosed condition. Although the Correctional Services Department has confirmed that the jailed president has undergone surgery around the first week of August, a picture that was allegedly taken following his hospital admissions has left many people confused.

The picture, which was shared by an attorney, Bongani Khanyile Ka Luthuli on the 15th of August, has left many people wondering where exactly is the former head of state and if he should not be in the hospital getting treated for his illness.

Luthuli claims that Zuma was having dinner with his legal representatives and that they were probably figuring how to free him.

One of his followers asked if Zuma should not be in hospital and if people should be surprised that he was not ill. Luthuli responded and said that it is disappointing that Zuma was sitting comfortably around his legal team. The pros of being a former president.

Others were asking if this picture is recent, and Luthuli maintained that it is.

However, it seems that the picture was shared by the Jacob Zuma Foundation spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi on Twitter not so long ago and this is how Luthuli accessed it. However, in his caption, Manyi wrote that Zuma was in their thoughts and that the legal team was planning for his safe return.

Following Manyi’s tweet, it appears that Zuma is indeed in hospital and that the picture was taken before he was jailed. If he wasn’t, this would have caused a lot of anger and the public was going to lose faith in the judiciary system.

The Coronavirus in South Africa has taken many different formes since it started. It’s been over a year and a half since the pandemic started in South Africa and so far, the virus has taken the whole country for a ride. It seems like once the people think that they have the virus in order, either a different variant comes along or the country enters a new wave of infections.

So far, about 3 waves of the Coronavirus have existed in South Africa and this is not even the end of it. According to the health department and research, South Africa might be in for another wave of infections just before the end of October. New information has just been released by the department of communicable diseases in South Africa that states a new variant of the virus has been discovered in South Africa soil and what makes it worse is it might render vaccines useless.

Below is a tweet that introduced this virus to South Africa.

This announcement was made of Monday the 30th of August. This is something the people never expected but now it is happening and they have to deal with it. What this means is that South Africa might be in big trouble. The current third wave has been rising again and it seems the main perpetrator could be this new variant.

It is currently being studied by many scientists across the world and the greatest worry is that South Africa does not have the necessary resources to keep this virus under wraps or contained. The country might need to move to a tougher alert level of the lockdown soon enough to try and protect itself from this virus but all of that will be communicated to the public by either the health department or the president of South Africa.

Kidnapped KZN Doctor has been found but unwell

A missing KZN Medical Doctor by the name of Ayanda Dlamini disappeared on the 27th of August. Friends and family were worried about her whereabouts and took to social media to ask for assistance in locating her. The woman was believed to be taken by a man who was later seen on CCTV.Fortunately the woman was found alive but still shaken by the incident. Her sister announced on social media on Monday afternoon.

Police have arrested 2 suspects and they have confessed that they aren’t the only ones involved and police are hoping to make more arrests soon. Ayanda Dlamini is still at the police station as they are waiting for a family member to come and identify her but the family is certain it is her. Friends and family thanked everyone who took their time and contributed in finding Ayanda. Well done to the police for acting swiftly in this matter.

KZN Student Uses Bursary Fees To Build This For Parents

A young KZN student by name of Sakhile Shelembe amazed Twitter users when he showed off this beautiful house he built for his parents.

In almost all black households, the young grow up wishing to better the living conditions of their parents due to the struggles parents face in raising them.

This is the case for Sakhile Shelembe, a Civil Engineering student from Durban University of Technology.

Sakhile showed a tweet stating that he has completed building this small but beautiful house for his parents.

Sakhile stated that he used his bursary funds (probably stipend of the bursary) to build the house for his parents.

He then went on to state that he is now saving up for money to buy the furniture needed in the house.

The Pastor expressed his concerns about the video, which has since gone viral on social media.

The strategy employed by the Alleged Clergyman to entice His disciples has become the buzz of the town and has made headlines. Several Kenyans have chimed in to express their opinions on the matter, while leaving a variety of remarks that suggested they were extremely opposed to the concept.

A little blue tank with a large aperture at the top of it was filled with water by the Pastor, who was shown to be nude from his shoulders down to his waistline in the video. Following that, He proceeded to enter the tank barefoot with His entire body submerged into the entire drum to the point that He was standing straight and facing His congregation.

After He ordered for a Cup and decided to force His disciples to drink the water that He stepped in, without providing any explanation as to why He would involve them in such a horrible deed that was completely unprecedented and unacceptable, the shock set in.

They formed a long line to receive water from Him, who was serving them one by one while they sang praise songs to Him. They were very gullible and had a great deal of faith in their religious leader. All of this continued until every single person had consumed the contaminated water, which solidified their particular approach and views on their faith.

Upon closer inspection of the Kenyans’ reactions, it became clear that the majority of them were extremely bitter, accusing the leader of deceiving the entire group for His own personal gain while claiming to be very caring and observant on matters of religion and the well-being of His flock who had gathered to hear the word of God.

Mental illness has no face, people who have mental illnesses do not show, they may look happy outside but battling depression or anxiety silently.

The most common mental illness is depression and the youth is the generation most affected by it.

Depression can be defined as a common serious illness that negatively affects how a person feels, thinks or acts. It leads many people to death if it persist of not treated.

There are many possible causes of depression, including faulty mood regulated by the brain, genetic vulnerability, stressful life events, medications and medical problems.

Depression can affect anyone from a nobody to celebrities and even high profile people. Many young people are victims of this illness.

A young man named Tymula shared a strange post on Instagram, He titled to post “My last post” it started with the words “If you are reading this it means i’m no longer here.” and procceded to write a long post apologising to all the he people he loves for being selfish.

He mentioned that his decision will hurt many people when he wrote “I have finally come to peace with my decision. I know i will hurt many people, and again I an trully sorry for that”.The young man had been suffering in silence for a long time.

He definitely took his life and when people saw the post it was too late, Later under the post his friends commented with sad Rip massages.
