The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has announced that the Republic of South Africa will be going on local government elections which are scheduled to take place on the 1st of November 2021.

With only three days left to the election day, the politicians and their parties are at the ground, African National Congress (ANC) is at the ground trying to win the hearts of South Africans once again.

It is unfortunate that in some places, people are still crying for service delivery and that’s not the good news at all for the ruling party.

The government of the African National Congress was spotted cleaning some streets which they were no longer cleaning but they are doing so because president Cyril Ramaphosa is coming to that area tomorrow on 29/10/2021.

Rumors are saying the residents want to ask them why they clean only when President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa is about to visit. But this is how mostly ANC operates. When there is a visit from government officials, they prepare everything and act as if they work hard.

Sadness Thando Thabethe In A Freak Accident

Actress and radio DJ Thando Thabethe, took to her Instagram stories yesterday to reveal that she was recently involved in a freak accident.

She said she needed to train but accidentally broke her toe. “So I had a freak accident last night. I broke my toe. Who breaks their toe? I needed to train, now my toe is purple,” she said. Thando posted a series of stories where she was receiving some medical attention and her bae Lunga Shabalala was by her side. In one of the stories, Lunga can be seen helping her to wear her moon boot.

We wish her a speedy recovery.

Another celeb who was recently involved in a car accident is Anele Mdoda. The radio host sustained minor injuries after being struck by a car whilst waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up at the airport.

A car hit her as she was waiting in the drop-off zone and threw her to the ground, but fortunately, she was not seriously injured. At first, she thought she was getting mugged but when she turned she realized that she was involved in a car accident.

She posted a picture of her wearing a moon boot and said she will tell the full story on her radio show” What a bloody long day !!!! You won’t believe what happened to me resulting in this moon boot. It’s the most bizarre thing to happen as it was happening I was in disbelief. Daily Sun quoted her detailing what happened during the accident, “I am, waiting to get picked up [by my boyfriend] and now I’m standing where everyone is standing, waiting to get picked up. The next thing, I feel the biggest pressure forcing me to the ground. It is the most bizarre feeling, so I think ‘oh I’m getting mugged, so I turn to grab whoever is mugging me,”

“Then I’m on the floor and I’m wondering what is going on. The next thing I feel my right foot is just stuck. I’m trying to move it, but it’s stuck. Now I can’t move my entire body, but there’s something on top of me. Guys did I not get hit by a car!” she said.

Anele said she was saved by Cassper’s sneakers. “I called him yesterday and told him to listen to the show today. It’s got quite a sole, and that’s why the car couldn’t climb onto it. The shoe is that strong,” she said.

A lady by the name of Qwabe Nonhlanhla is the one who took to Twitter where she posted some photos of herself with the minister in what looks like an office.

The lady posted the photo as she said that they encourage the people and thanked the minister that he has been a minister who gives hope to the people. It is unclear what she was referencing here.

She then added that she is no longer losing hope anymore but her hope has been reassured.

A look at this Zimbabwean teacher’s payslip is heartbreaking

ZimLive News used its Twitter account to share a picture of a payslip alleged to be that of a Zimbabwean teacher. The reports regularly allege that the Zimbabwean teachers are not happy with the salaries they are receiving. The alleged picture of a payslip of a Zimbabwean teacher will break your heart.

In the above copy of the payslip, the net salary of the teacher is RTGS$16,308.When the amount is converted, it gives about US$95 on the widely-used market for currency exchange. When this is converted into South African Rands, it is almost R1400 as confirmed belowThis is not a joke, it is an actual payslip alleged to be that of a Zimbabwean teacher for the recent month of September. The Zimbabwean teachers have been calling for adjustments regarding their salaries to revert to the minimum of US$520 which was the case a couple of years back.

However, their requests have been falling onto deaf ears as they keep being paid in Zimbabwean dollars whose value on the exchange market is low.

To imagine that a trained University Graduate who studied four years at a higher learning institution is being paid R1400 is a slap in the face. It is for this reason that the teachers from Zimbabwe are leaving the country to teach in other countries. The salaries being paid to the teachers are too low and there is a great need for the Zimbabwean government to adjust the amounts that are paid to teachers as salaries.

It is heartbreaking to note what the Zimbabwean teachers are going through. The R1400 is not enough to pay for other expenses such as rent, food, electricity, water, and other important expenditures.

Crying: RIP 3 ANC Members Shot DEAD This Morning

The OnlineNewzBible has quite extensively reported on the prevalence of politically influenced killings in the country at recent times. The breeze of the 1 November local government elections which has swept over the country, has sadly coincided with deaths of many councillor candidates as internal African National Congress (ANC) squabbles unfold before our eyes.

With just 5 days away from the eagerly-awaited local government elections, the scourge of political killings has reared its ugly head again, with reports by the SABC, that 3 ANC members were brutally gunned down in Soshanguve, Tshwane.

According to ANC councillor candidate Tshepo Malefane, his uncle, Khehla Malefane, 42, was ambushed by assailants while in his car with a friend. This is in addition to other members from the same area who were brutally killed.

The killings have all the hallmarks of politically influenced hit, and this has made Malefane to go into hiding in order to protect his own life which is seemingly under threat.

Despite being chosen by the people to be a candidate councillor, Malefane stated that the death of another high-profile Councillor, Tshepo Motaung has demonstrated that people are no longer safe as the killing spree is seemingly unabating.

“Personally, my safety is greatly compromised, as other ANC members are getting assassinated virtually every day of the week. Those who have association with me and the African National Congress are also greatly in danger. Hence, I feel that my life is not safe at all. Howver, I am courageous person and I am equally getting courage from my organisation to continue serving the people,” Malefane told the SABC.

Despite an outstanding investigation by the South African Police Services (SAPS), Malefane is supremely confident that those who want him taken out are “possibly associated with the infrastructure projects that are happening that are taking place around Soshanguve.”

Amidst the scourge of these political killings, neither the ANC nor the security apparatus has really done much to put a stop into the madness, and it is one’s opinion that if security is not tightened over the next few days leading up to the Municipal polls, there will be many more deaths.

A certain lady however shared a heart-breaking story that touched a lot of hearts. She wrote “Beat me up until I lost the baby. Left me there on the road at night while it was raining. After 4 days he said “I’m sorry, I was drunk.” 13 months later after the incident he committed suicide. i still go to his grave to spit on it every 25th October. Now I’m nulliparous/sterile.”

A lot of people were saddened by her painful experience and the fact that she could not be able to have children anymore. What made it even worse was the fact that the p[person who had caused all her pain was no longer alive. She is still bitter and hurt and that is why she confessed to spitting on the late boyfriends grave on the 25th of October every year which is the day he died so that she can let out her frustrations as she is the pone left with pain.

Pregnant women are really fragile and sensitive therefore this story should be a lesson to other man to be careful when dealing with women who are [pregnant. Physical abuse should never be an option because the results can be permanent and and devastating and in the worst case scenario irreversible.
