ANC Invested So Much In Malusi Gigaba: RET Cde Says

ANC comrade aligned to the RET faction has argued that the ruling party invested so much in former minister, Malusi Gigaba to try and dissuade him from contesting at the conference.

Gigaba is eyeing the secretary general position, but after he announced his availability to contest, reports emerged that Zondo want him investigated for corruption based on the allegations made by his estranged wife Noma Mngoma.

All along Malusi Gigaba has been quietly working the ground, and travelling to different provinces and holding meetings with the youth league of ANC. It is said some branches nominated him to avail himself for the secretary general position.

“The ANC invested a lot in Malusi Gigaba, even those who judge him based on petty issues than his capacity to lead not in government, in politics, very few who can match him here but have a lot to say about him,” said Mfoka Jobe.

He adds that his opponents did not just leak Malusi Gigaba’s private parts for fun, or drag him to the Zondo commission of enquiry for fun, but they did so because they wanted to tarnish his image before the conference, so they could say he does not qualify.

“They didn’t hunt his ex-wife to talk lies and stupid things against him for fun, they saw something we are still struggling to see about him, he is a congressman,” he said.

Even though the recommendation by Zondo Commission that Malusi Gigaba must be investigated with the possibility of a prosecution seem to have been a strategic plan to make him unable to contest, his supporters argue that he will go to the conference.

The ANC conference is fast approaching, and some comrades feel those who are scared of being elbowed out power are implementing tactics to make sure their opponents does not set their foot at the December national conference.

RIP: A 9-year-old was painfully killed by her father’s new girlfriend. See how she died

RIP: A 9-year-old was painfully killed by her father’s new girlfriend. See how she died

Another thing which leads to mass killings and homicides in South Africa is broken up families and bitter ex-boyfriends/ girlfriends. We have learnt about many women who have been killed by their ex-boyfriends just because they refused to get back with them , especially in Cape Town.

This morning we learnt about the passing of a young beautiful soul from eastern cape. According to the reports from “Women for change” we have learnt about the passing of Quinisha Sebrand, who was allegedly killed by her alleged step mother at the age of 9.

It appears that Quinisha’s father was no longer married to her mother and he had a new wife , called Lesley and they lived together under one roof but Lesley was jealous that Quinisha and her father have a bond, so she saw it fit to kill the young girl.

The reports states that on the 28th of march 2022, Lesley fetched her from her house around 09:00, and took her for a haircut and after that she took her for a swim in Maitlands beach. After she finished swimming Lesley strangled the poor young lady with a shoelace til she died.

Quinisha’s body was found at Maitlands Beach on Monday, March 28, after she had been murdered by her father’s then girlfriend, Damon.

After seeing that she has no alibi and even the barber saw that the young girl was with her, she handed herself to the cops and confessed that she killed Quinisha and pleaded guilty in court. The Gqebera high court concluded that she did what she did out of jealousy and sentenced her to 25 years in prison.

What’s your view about this matter?Do you think Lesley’s Setence was harsh or light? Don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comment section.

INEC in Nigeria intends to enable internally displaced people to vote in elections in 2023

INEC in Nigeria intends to enable internally displaced people to vote in elections in 2023.

In order to allow Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to participate in the next election, Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) intends to examine the country’s election regulations.

Core cost of election is FG’s responsibility –

Political groups are pressuring the government to establish a centralized voting system so that citizens may simply cast their ballots without being limited to specific polling places

According to the UN, there are more than three million internally displaced people in Nigeria, and many of them were unable to participate in the 2015 and 2019 elections.

The country’s general elections would be held the following year, according to Liyatu Ayuba, one of the internally displaced people. “I am overjoyed that we displaced people will be able to vote in the upcoming election. to choose a leader who, in our opinion, can put an end to the unrest so that we can one day leave this place and return to our states and villages.

More than 2 million people have been forced from their homes by the ten-year insurgency in Northeast Nigeria, and thousands of them are now living in camps like these.

More people have been displaced due to farmer-herder violence, as well as killings and kidnappings by armed groups for ransom in the northwest and center of the nation.

Many IDPs were compelled to leave the places where they had registered to vote, therefore they did not cast ballots in the elections that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to office.

Nigerian company turns e-waste into solar powered lanterns

At that time, Igweilo said, “we discovered that… if we leverage electronic waste, we are going to reduce the cost of manufacturing as well as the cost of sales, and that is what drove us to where we are now.

To get 70% of its materials from electronic trash, the business said. For its solar lamps, Quadloop recycles lithium batteries from abandoned old computers. Those lanterns are then utilized by local enterprises allowing them to stay productive if there are power shortages, Igweilo added.

Blessing Samuel, a hairdresser who uses Quadloop’s solar lamp at night, is one of its customers. “It’s excellent; I’ve found it to be useful ever since I acquired it, and it supports me when there is no light. It helps me with my work and relieves the worry of having to buy fuel.

Why! This Is The Viral Nurse Who Refused To Help A Pregnant Woman In Labor Because She Was Off Duty

Why! This Is The Viral Nurse Who Refused To Help A Pregnant Woman In Labor Because She Was Off Duty

South Africa: The tables are turning and this time around, South Africans are being affected. From turning away foreigners seeking aide, refusing to help a pregnant woman on pains. A pregnant mother almost lost her baby at Bugersfort government hospital, Limpopo, after a nurse refused to attend to her.

Her excuse was her shift was yet be start. A video of the incident is currently making waves online and Mzansi are furious. Here are some comments made in reaction to the incident;

I remember Malema’s words: when we finished to treat foreigners badly then we are going to treat each other same way we were treating them.

The nurse must be left alone, where is Phophi who set up the schedule. The retail store open at 7h00am and that it’s no blur! blur! blur! it’s the scheduled time and its the policy so where is the problem. The nurse in question can not be disciplined for something that happened before she reported on duty ok! She was off duty and it’s the rule, policies and procedures or else if she has attended and it goes wrong, why did she attended the patient before she report on duty?

The government refused to increase salaries. The workers are depressed, failing to survive. Prices are very high compared to their salaries. Almost all government employees are depressed due to the fact that their salaries can’t match their basic needs costs.

I assume she no longer believes in her nurses’ oath, even by turning away foreigners nurses fail their sworn oath:

I solemnly commit myself to serving humanity and will do my best to practice my profession with conscience and dignity.

I will uphold the honor and great tradition of my profession using every means at my disposal.

My patients’ overall health will be my main priority.

All personal information that comes to my attention will be kept strictly confidential.

I will not allow religion, nationality, ethnicity, or socioeconomic standing to come between my obligation and my patient.

I shall always have the utmost regard for human life.

I make these pledges solemnly, freely, and on the basis of my honor.

Zimbabweans Evicted for Hijacking a Building, Setting Up a School, Threatening Owner

Zimbabweans Evicted for Hijacking a Building, Setting Up a School, Threatening Owner

The rate at which foreign nationals are carrying out criminal activities in South Africa is quite disturbing. Some of these immigrants are very audacious in their approach and they do not care about the consequences of their actions because the government has given them less attention.

One of the criminal practices that is happening all over the country is the issue of house hijacking often conducted by foreign nationals who move into someone’s house as a tenant and end up pursuing the landlord out of his/her building or in most scenarios, they live in someone’s house without paying the owner of the building.

In an emerging report, a South African landlord have won a court case against a Zimbabwean who hijacked his two buildings and turned it into a school. The matter has been going on for several years with no reasonable outcome.

The Zimbabwean who hijacked the building was rented an apartment to live in but subsequently, he hijacked and evicted other tenants living in the house including the landlord and established a school for himself.

But after the court order was issued yesterday, the main owner of the house in collaboration with members of operation dudula storm the location to help kick out the Zimbabwean teachers working as staff there including evacuation of their properties.

This is highly commendable and we hope that this action will be replicated in other people’s cases. Some South African house owners have lost their building to criminals especially in Johannesburg.
