Residents of Mpumalanga,

The march was led in Mpumalanga by members of the Democratic Alliance and ActionSA. The people are worried about the state of the hospital. They contend that hospital infrastructure degrades the standard of medical services. Some residents of the community said they would not feel at ease being hospitalized.

One resident claims, “When you get to this hospital, you find it unclean, without personnel, you are not handled correctly, without medication, without an ambulance, and you take time to see the doctor.”

“When you need to locate the file, you are informed that it is missing and that you need to visit the doctor; however, the doctor won’t be able to help you if you don’t have a file. Another neighbor adds, “People are afraid to enter the hospital since so many people are passing away here.
