Many South often move to other countries for greener pastures. In the recent years the number of individuals moving to China to teach English has increased.

Unfortunately, sometimes these individuals fall sick while in a foreign country and end up dying there. The repatriation fees to bring their bodies back to South Africa can be shockingly expensive.

Leaving the families with very few options that are to either raise the money needed or to have the body cremated in China, then have the ashes sent to South Africa.

Another South African woman has been reported to have died in China and that her family is struggling to bring her back home for burial, this is not the first case of this sort to occur.

In this case, Siphosethu Mqokozo moved to China to pursue her teaching career unfortunately she passed on after falling sick for a little while. The 30 year old had moved to China in 2019.

RIP Tragic loss of a young, promising sailor in SA leaves sailing community in shock

One of their most promising young athletes, Khanya Mafuta, passed away, shocking the sailing community in both South Africa and around the world.

With the news that one of their best young talents, Khanya Mafuta, had passed away, the sailing community in South Africa and throughout the world were left in shock on Wednesday.

Mafuta, an 18-year-old victim of a stabbing at the KwaNonqaba Marikana informal settlement near Mossel Bay, passed away from his wounds.

At the Skipper Foundation in Mossel Bay, where he began learning to sail about five years ago, Mafuta was a beloved employee.

He quickly moved up the ranks as a result of his commitment and dedication to the sport. During the Youth Sailing World Championships in the Netherlands in July, he and teammate Oliver Holden competed in the 29er class for the first time as representatives of their nation.

His journey outside the nation was his first.

“The news of Khanya’s sad death has left us all completely in shock. The president of SA Sailing, Michael Robinson, described him as a “really great young man” who worked hard and was developing a potential sailing career that could have significantly improved his life.

It is heartbreaking that this kind of violence and bloodshed are a daily reality for so many young people in South Africa who are merely attempting to take the right road and improve their life and those of their family, continued SA Sailing Transformation Officer Lindani Mchunu.

“So many of SA Sailing’s development programs are explicitly targeted towards at-risk youngsters, giving them a path out by exposing them to sailing, not just as a sport or pleasure but also as a potential career in the maritime industry. How severe that risk is is demonstrated by Khanya’s terrible, premature death.

“Given the ongoing risks and difficulties that our young people confront in their daily lives, our sincere hope and objective is that sailing will help people escape gang violence and poverty.

Khanya’s family, together with her numerous friends and teammates in Mossel Bay and all around the world, are in our thoughts and prayers, Mchunu continued.

On his first venture into international competition earlier this year, Mafuta not only left a lasting impression but was also on his way to huge things in South Africa.

A 5-year-old child slept on the lap of their murdered mother thinking she was just sleeping

A child totally unaware that his mother had been shot dead and he thought she was just sleeping.

It is reported that gunmen stormed into their home and opened fire.

Siyabulela Takuta and his wife, Zimkhitha, both 36, were in their Bikana Street home when four people entered the house and shot them on Monday night.

The incident sent shock waves in their community.

Ayanda, Takuta’s older brother, said when the woman’s knocks on the front door went unanswered, she entered the house and found Zimkhitha still seated on the couch, where she had been watching TV the night before.

On closer inspection, she discovered Zimkhitha had a wound to the head, covered in dry blood.

In the bedroom, she found Takuta lying on the bed, also covered in blood.

“She ran out crying, calling for assistance,” Ayanda said.

While the police said they were yet to determine the motive for the murders, members of both families pointed to an alleged family feud over the Bikana Street property as a possible motive.

The double murder has shocked the close-knit family, friends and neighbours.

Ayanda said both families were devastated by the death of his brother and sister-in-law.

When a Herald team arrived at the house yesterday, several women were seated on couches, packing clothes as per Xhosa tradition and preparing to clean the house.

One of the aunts broke down and sobbed.

“We are sad, we are devastated,” she said.

“A lot of things are going through our heads. What happened? How did it happen?”

Ayanda was met by scores of onlookers as he arrived at the house later on Tuesday morning.

The police had advised the family against viewing the bodies as their injuries were too gruesome.

“We are still grieving and it’s not easy,” Ayanda said.

“We are still imagining those graphic pictures of their injuries and we are still dealing with the trauma.”

Ayanda said Zimkhitha had been watching TV with her five-year-old son and his two friends, aged five and seven, when the four armed intruders entered the house and shot her in the head before shooting her husband in the bedroom.

The little boy climbed onto his mother’s lap, where he sat, believing that she had simply fallen asleep.

Ayanda described his brother, a SPAR supermarket manager, as a “loving, funny guy who loved everybody”.

One thing about friendships is that they are full of betrayal and envy. It is true when they say the only person who will love you genuinely and unconditionally is your mother. The rest you should never trust. People will love you and help you only when it benefits them. Most friendships are full of pretending and claiming to love each other while there’s no love. We have heard so many people crying that they are betrayed by their own friends.

We all know that friends are usually basic, but what happened in the story of Lindelani Sithole is painful. I am Lindela, an unemployed graduate who has a teaching degree. One day, his friend, with whom they went to the same school and university, called him and told him to come to Nelspruit. He had found him a job. He said he must come with R1500 for a bribe since there was favour for him to find that job. Lindelani was so happy and couldn’t stop praising his friend for such a great favour.

He told his family and they borrowed money so that he could go get his job. After several days, the family started to be worried because Lindelani was no longer getting back to them and his phone was off. They then decided to call the school principal of the school where the friend said he found him a job at. The principal denied it and said there was no post at that school. The family got more worried and called the police to report a missing person case. A case was opened, and police went to the friend’s house and found no one. They then kicked the door and found a pool of blood and an exe. While they were still there, they noticed that there was a hole next to a toilet, only to find that Lindelani was killed with an exe and buried in a shallow hole. The friend is nowhere to be found.

It’s still hard to believe that it happened. The news of the demise of a member of Operation Dudula has left a huge number of people distraught and in a state of shock. Operation Dudula is a South African vigilante group that opposes the presence of foreigners in their country. Its principal objective is to ensure that non-South Africans do not benefit from opportunities that are intended solely for citizens of South Africa. The fact that more foreigners are continuing to be hired in the country despite the fact that South Africans continue to suffer from a shortage of work prospects is not sitting well with the people.

Leaders of Operation Dudula travel throughout the country to various regions in search of illegal immigrants and to investigate businesses that are suspected of employing illegal immigrants. Since it began functioning, a large number of non-locals have been detained, and a large number of companies that are controlled by non-locals have been forced to close their doors. As a result of all of this, individuals from other countries have been threatening Operation Dura, stating that one day they will fight back and defend themselves.

Reports indicate that on Friday, a member of the Zimbabwean gang known as ” Thobejane ” was responsible for the shooting death of a member of the Operation Dudula group. The information has an utterly devastating effect on the family, and it won’t be an easy journey for them to move on from here. People were left feeling a great deal of hatred and hostility toward Zimbabweans as a result of this.

Following that, one of the leaders of the operation Durula uploaded a video of the last moment they had with the member who was shot and murdered. In the video, he was shown performing songs about battling against adversity in a very agonizing manner. His singing is beautiful, and his voice has such a pleasant tone to it. They had no idea that this was the very last moment that they would spend with him. Little did they know. This video moved the hearts of a lot of people, and condolences poured in for both the family and the team working on Operation Dudula after it was shared.

Another Car Accident ‘Claims’ Soccer Player’s Life: RIP

he South African football fraternity has been rocked by yet another death of a prominent footballer who has reportedly died from a car accident while in his home country.

According to reliable sources close Unplayable, former Highlands Park and TS Galaxy left-back Lesenya Ramoraka has sadly passed away after succumbing to injuries he sustained in a horrific car crash in Botswana, his home country.

The Orapa United left-back is reprted to have been travelling in his vehicle with another passenger, and his car had a puncture which caused him to lose control of his vehicle and crashed.

The 28-year-old whose stay in South African football was a short-lived experience, played at the now-defunct Highlands Park whom he joined ahead of the 2018-19 season from Orapa United.

He excelled in his first season, however, a combination of injuries and poor form ultimately led to his departure when the club was bought by well-renowned lawyer and agent, Tim Sukazi who renamed them TS Galaxy and ultimately relocated the club to Mpumalanga.

During his stint in SA, the left-back made 34 appearances in all competitions while scoring one goal in the process.

He made a respectable 19 appearances for the Botswana national team and it’s clear his legacy will be fondly remembered.

It is tragic that yet another football player loses their life in a car accident, and while the circumstances of what actually transpired remains somewhat sketchy, there are a number of other possible causes that cannot be ruled out, including drunk driving and the fact that football players are notorious for breaking traffic laws, as we have learned in South Africa.

Three Killed in horror crash after stopping to change a tyre: SO SAD

After stopping to change a tire, a horrifying accident occurred, which claimed the lives of three people.

While three men were working to change a tire, a Ford Ranger drove up and hit them. All three of the men died at the scene. When the incident occurred, the men were driving in a minibus, and one of the tires on the vehicle became punctured.

The incident took place on Sunday at 18:30 along the D2296 Road, which is located in Mpumalanga and connects the towns of Karino and Kamagugu.

Moeti Mmusi, the spokesperson for the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, stated that the three individuals were struck by the bakkie.

Mmusi said that all three of the males had passed away at the location of the incident. The driver of the bakkie had suffered serious injuries and had to be sent to a hospital in the area as soon as possible.

An inquiry into the cause of the crash is currently under process.

A man who is said to have been giving the community trouble was beaten and burnt to death by community members. It’s clear that they had already been fed up. It is said that he used to give community members trouble to an extent that they would live their lives in fear.It’s unfair for people to live their lives in fear daily because of another human being.

Things ended so badly when they took matters into their own hands yesterday and burnt him to death. It is said that he used to steal and threaten to kill other people. This time around he was caught stealing at one of the houses in the community. People decided to put their fear aside and dealt with him in such a harsh way. This is because they tend to feel that justice is not being served as he used to get away with some of his wrongdoing.

Others are celebrating his death as they have hopes that their streets will now be safe for all people more especially young children. They say he should rest in terror. Limpopo people recently revealed that they will not be waiting for the police to do their own work but would rather do the work by themselves. Some people have revealed that killing people is unfair but rather let the police to do their job to avoid being arrested.

Law enforcement agency officers in KwaZulu-Natal province, has reportedly found the few days old baby dumped by the side road. Fortunate enough it was not too late for them since they found baby was still much alive.

This is a sad news, but there was more news to it. The mother of the baby decided to leave note close to of the baby with a message directed to the whomever that will find the dumped baby.

The note itself left people heartbroken and some in tears, after reading the message. The mother on the note explained her reason behind her action, and some are that the social workers are delaying the process of adopting the baby. She also said that on the other side it is nolonger safe to abort at the hospital due to strict rules.

His vehicle was found deserted in Moiletswane, North West.

He had vanished on Saturday, 24 September.
