Ex-Deputy Minister DIES This Morning

Ex-Deputy Minister DIES This Morning

Barely a week has passed since the ANC was left utterly shocked by the passing of a highly-promising district council mayor of the Sarah Baartman municipality, Mzimkhulu Njadayi. Considering his relatively young age, his death left an indelible mark on the hearts of fellow comrades.

While still very much in the process of coming to terms with his death, the party has suffered a striking blow as another high-profile leader has sadly passed away this morning.

The ANC took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter this morning to confirm the passing away of former deputy minister of Internal Relations and Cooperation, Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim. The party indicated that he died aged 84 surrounded by family at his Johannesburg home.

Ebrahim was reportedly suffering from a long-term illness which supposedly took despite the extraordinary level of medical care he was receiving.

In typical ANC fashion, the part waxed lyrical about the significant contribution he made during his time in the struggle against Apartheid colonialism as well as a myriad of roles he held during working in government.

Ebrahim was of Indian descent and he joined the liberation movement in the early 1950s as part of the cohort that would ultimately draw the imperative Freedom Charter document at the Congress of the People. He spent 15 years on Robben Island after he was charged with sabotage in 1964. This was around about the same time as former President Nelson Mandela.

Ebrahim was a political giant among giants, at the Nascent of the democratic dispensation in 1994, he was deployed by the ANC to the national assembly, wherein he served with absolute distinction in all the roles that he was assigned responsibilities.

When former President Jacob Zuma took office in 2009, he rewarded Ebrahim with a cabinet post as deputy minister of IR, where he served until his retirement in 2017.

Besides working in government, Ebrahim was also a National Executive Member of the ANC for 26 years after he was initially elected at the eThekwini conference in 1991.

Although death is the ultimate terminus ad quem, the ANC has really been punished this year, just by looking at the number of high-profile leaders who have passed away.

The party is at a crossroads with itself and is seemingly plunged in a self-inflicted quagmire and desperately in need of experienced leadership. It is therefore one’s opinion that Ebrahim’s death has definitely robbed the party of extraordinary brains that still added value to the movement amid its most testing of periods.

The OnlineNewzBible team sends its most sincere condolences to Ebrahim’s family, May His Soul Repose Peacefully.

guardians end to need to design their youngsters’ prospects. They as of now have an arrangement for which stream you will pick before truly counseling you, similarly as when you complete grade 10. It turns out to be more regrettable when you get to college since they even pick and apply for a course for you. We’ve experienced many individuals who are trapped in positions they despise on the grounds that they didn’t settle on their own proficient choices.

Regardless of rehashed admonitions from basic liberties associations asking guardians to try not to settle on choices about their youngsters’ fates, guardians keep on doing as such. They legitimize their activities by professing to realize what is best for their youngsters. After the Department of Health uncovered that youngsters may now be immunized without their folks’ understanding, there was a colossal store a couple of months prior. Guardians were insulted, expressing that in light of the fact that their kids were as yet youthful and incapable to settle on taught choices, their mothers should settle on the choices for them.

While we’re regarding the matter of guardians picking future choices for their youngsters, a viral photograph of a dad who chose to get his child inked all around his body has turned into a web sensation. Despite the fact that the young person is only a half year old, he has tattoos all around his body. Look at the pictures underneath: Many individuals were insulted subsequent to seeing these photos, contending that this dad wasn’t right to settle on choices for his youngster. There’s a possibility the kid doesn’t care for the tattoos, yet there’s no way around this is on the grounds that they were for all time inked on his body without his consent.

Most of the dark guardians act thusly. They don’t permit young people to choose their own course throughout everyday life. This must be a crime. Is that as old as with somebody’s tentative arrangements? Indeed, it’s his kid, yet shouldn’t something be said about the young person’s vision for what’s to come? This ought to be viewed as an intense offense. He’s decided on the child’s future here and there.

Certain changes have been restricted for him on the grounds that specific positions are incongruent with tattoos. We want to instruct dark guardians so they comprehend that my future is totally dependent upon me. What are your contemplations on this? Our Perfect Wedding: An enthusiastic man wants to celebrate his blushing bride pictures

Our Perfect Wedding: An enthusiastic man wants to celebrate his blushing bride pictures

This week on Our Perfect Wedding we met a plain and simple coupled with plain and simple objectives. A church choir romance that culminated in marriage and three beautiful children.

A man who wants to brag about his wife is a green flag

It was one of the simplest weddings we’ve seen but it didn’t make it any less significant. It was harder though for the host to do her job with a stoic bride. She barely had anything to say about her own dress and only seemed to light upon the actual wedding day, dancing and showing she’s actually glad to be there.

I’ve noticed it’s the grooms who usually call OPW to be a part of their special day which is really cute. The idea of them wanting to show off their significance to the nation is really commendable. In a world where cheating is the norm and no one values loyalty, it’s refreshing to have men eager to be committed forever.

He was gushing over her the entire time and telling us how he loves and values her, proving this by trusting her opinion on their rings. She was less energetic than him but still optimistic. I loved hearing from his sister how close they are and how they help each other out. It was probably why he is able to treat his wife with respect, rain or shine

No vows?

The outfits were on point throughout along with stunning decor throughout the multiple ceremonies. I was surprised though that no vows were involved. When they got to the church they stood with the pastor but no vows were said. They listened to him speak and proceeded after. It was a strange part of the wedding but everything else went off without a hitch!

You promised to marry me: It’s a surprise ma Bride explains to her MIL

You promised to marry me: It’s a surprise ma Bride explains to her MIL

You promised to marry me: “It’s a surprise ma!” The bride explains to her MIL

While you’re here, please follow me!

A lady took to You Promised to Marry Me to speak sense into her boyfriend and get him to see that she’s marry-able. In her wedding gown, she interrogated why he was looking at her bridesmaid and if she was not attractive enough for him. More than anything, I think that this was a desperate stunt to force the guy to marry her because after all, the two have been through high waters and have 2 children together.

Before locating her boyfriend, she had to explain to her mother-in-law why she thought this was a good way of getting her son to notice and marry her. All she could chime was, “It’s a surprise ma” but the MIL was unimpressed by all of it. She felt that her daughter-in-law could have adopted less dramatic ways to get her son to marry her. While the MIL was dodging cameras and wanting nothing to do with her, Sli almost cried questioning why she (MIL) could embarrass her in front of so many strangers and that she thought she loved her and saw her as being fit to marry her son. The MIL explained that she doesn’t like surprises and that there was no need for Sli to go through such lengths just to get married to her son because she’s the only person she considers her daughter-in-law anyways. Eventually, the MIL cooperated and accompanied the young lady to the tavern where he son was drinking (he was actually drinking in the streets).

Apart from not taking too well to the surprise, viewers could not help but notice how well Sli and her mother-in-law got along.

Guys, I’m so embarrassed on Sli’s behalf. Why do people write to this show to embarrass themselves?😩 #YouPromisedToMarryMe @mbali_ndlela

It’s either Sli was drunk, acting, or she’s just special nje 😂😂#youpromisedtomarryme @notyourmate27

Hawu Sli came wearing a white gown saying Sihle marry me. When he says let get married. She says no you have to pay lobola bla bla bla. Kant why did she call Moshe. #youpromisedtomarryme @Samke_70402

What do you think? Do you like surprises?

Thanks for reading!

The new season of Date my family commenced this evening. The show is about singles who are looking for love however you first meet their family members before going out on a date with a lady or man of your choice based on how their families represented them.

What Nigeria has demanded from Ramaphosa left many fuming DETAILS

What Nigeria has demanded from Ramaphosa left many fuming DETAILS

Image: South African police officers detained a Nigerian during a face-off with a group of South Africans in the center of Pretoria yesterday. Police fired rubber bullets and stun grenades to break up clashes between local protesters and migrants in Pretoria during a march against immigration. ( Used for illustration)

On Wednesday, President Cyril Ramaphosa concluded his state visit to Abuja, Nigeria. Ramaphosa was on high spirits, optimistic that his visit has yielded good results in improving relations between the two African economic giants.

According to Sunday Times, before President Cyril Ramaphosa was received with much pomp and ceremony in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, his delegation held difficult conversations in Nigeria where they were confronted about attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa. Sunday Times reports that strained relations were extremely intense from the moment the delegation set foot in Nigeria Tuesday with the aim of reclaiming SA’s position as a dominant player in Africa. Nigeria representatives told Ramaphosa that Nigerians living in South Africa are facing attacks because of xenophobia. Nigeria told Ramaphosa that they demand tough action against xenophobia.

Several South Africans have been angered by Nigeria’s demands. “People are attacked daily, did they discuss drugs and human trafficking syndicates run by Nigerians in SA? Did they discuss the reasons for the attacks? Media must stop sugar-coating our problems in SA, we have an immigration crisis, people must go back home and fix their countries,” a Twitter user said.

Here’s how other angry people reacted:

@GobetseM This ANC is pushing us every day to vote for white parties, At this rate, I won’t even judge people voting for FF+. We need a government that will cut all ties with Nigeria, we can’t be held for ransom by a country that only exports criminals, they need us more than we need them!

@Mbuso1 Who is attacking Nigeria in Sunnyside and Hillbrow! this is crazy!

@ManziniM They just pushed the little coward into a corner and instructed him to punish his fellow countrymen for daring to raise alarm about foreign thugs who are in our country conducting crimes at a scale never seen before by foreign people in foreign lands.

We hope Rampahosa did not bow down to whatever demands of Nigerians. Nigerians have done more harm than good in RSA, proof is there to see. The Presidency must give Nigerian Consulate videos, pictures, records of Nigerians who have killed, r*ped, pr*stitution with our girls, drugs. They have a nerve complaining about xenophobia!

Video: Actress, Kate Henshaw reacts after being called out for not speaking up for Sylvester Oromoni

Video: Actress, Kate Henshaw reacts after being called out for not speaking up for Sylvester Oromoni

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has reacted after being called out for not speaking up for late Sylvester Oromoni (Jnr).

There has been outrage and a call for justice on social media following the death of the 12-year-old student of Dowen College who was allegedly tortured by his seniors for not joining a cult.

Many celebrities have used their platform to mourn his demise and call for justice from the appropriate authorities.

Apparently, Kate Henshaw didn’t speak up on time and some netizens took to social media to express disappointment in her.

Reacting to this, the thespian in a video she shared on her Instagram page, slammed her critics for being hypocritical and selective in the cases they choose to fight for.

According to her, she has used her platform to speak up for victims in the past and she doesn’t need anyone to force her to speak up.

She said in part;

“You cannot be selective in your call-out. Your outrage is so hypocritical and insipid. What are you calling me out for?
A few years ago, when a school teacher defiled a two-year-old girl in Chrisland school, I posted the picture. After asking questions and getting the right information, I reposted them. The guy threatened to sue me and I reported the case. You all just foam at the mouth calling names. For what? You choose when and when not to speak out. I choose to speak out every time and it’s not for you to tell me or tag me in some meaningless post”.
