RIP: Mzansi Kwaito legend passed away in his sleep. The family says this is the cause of death

Former TKZee member and a Kwaito legend has passed away. According to entertainment Commentator, Phil Mphela an official statement on his passing states that Magesh had an epileptic seizure which sadly took his life. Reports state his body always discovered by a relative and it is believed he died in his sleep.

Tokollo Tshabalala was a South African Kwaito musician born on 14th October in 1976 in Johannesburg in South Africa. He was a student at St Stithians College and started his career as part of the group Mashsmplani in 1995 before later joining high school friends to form TKZee. Tokollo Tshabalala according to Forbes has over time built a strong fan base which has given them that much-needed publicity not just in the country but globally and they are highly respected in the South African music industry. Their popularity has seen them win series of awards and sign endorsement deals on daily basis.

Recipe: Roast chicken

12- 15 chicken pieces

3 tbsp of olive oil

3 tbsp Peri Peri spice

4 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp dried thyme

Ingredients

1 & 1/2 flour (cake or all purpose)

1 cup fine desiccated coconut

3 ripe bananas (mashed)

3/4 cup white sugar

1/2 cup plain yoghurt

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 tsp vanilla essence

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. In a large bowl , mix the mashed bananas, vegetable oil , white sugar and whisk well.

2. Add vanilla then beat one egg at a time . Then add plain yoghurt . Mix gently.

3. Sift in flour , baking powder, bicarbonate of soda , and salt .Then add coconut . Mix gently.

DO NOT OVER MIX.

4. Pour the batter (mixture) in prepared a loaf tin .

5. Bake for 55-60 minutes in a preheated oven at 160 Degrees Celsius .

She was in such horrible form that they weren’t even sure she would be able to board the plane and return to America. She managed to survive, boarded the aircraft, and traveled to the United States with her new adoptive parents, brother, and sister.

The young girl had never experienced affection, comfort, or the knowledge that there were people out there who would truly look after her. She had a lot of problems adjusting to a new home and love when she returned because she had lived her entire life being mistreated. She was taken out of hospitals in the third world and given the care she so sorely needed, and slowly she has started to regain her strength.

Sadness as South African man stones his 17-year-old girlfriend to death for cheating on him

Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Mamphaswa Seabi has confirmed the arrest of a 23 year old man who allegedly stoned his 17 year old girlfriend to death in Limpopo, South Africa after accusing her of cheating on him as the teenager received a call when they were together. The teenager was identified as Promise Tjatji, from Kome village.

The tragic incident happened on Saturday 20th of August 2022 at about 19:00. The suspect has been charged to the Nebo magistrate court today 23 August for the alleged murder.

It was reported by the Police that the 23 year old suspect was walking with the victim at Kome village under Nebo policing area when the victim allegedly received a call. The suspect then accused her of cheating on him and he stoned her to death immediately at the spot.

The police were quickly alerted about the incident and upon their arrival, they found the victim lying with severe injuries which is fatal thereby leading to her death.

Further investigation on the case was taken up by The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit where they would ensure the suspect will face a charge for murder.

Speaking to Times LIVE, the deceased’s uncle, Mphe Tsatsi, who is distraught and still struggling to comprehend his niece’s death, said Promise already planned her future and wanted to be a doctor after completing high school. Until her death, she has been staying with her elderly mother.

He said the family wasn’t aware of the relationship and didn’t know the boyfriend.

“She was a very nice girl and I heard at school that she was very good with mathematics and physics.” said the uncle.

According to reports, when Mphe arrived home on Saturday, he found uncooked boerewors on the kitchen table. His mother said the meat was taken out of the fridge by her granddaughter to cook.

This means she was about to cook before she left to go out with the boyfriend.

He said the teenager was in grade 12 and they were planning to help her study at university. The school had recently helped her apply for a bursary.

Mphe thanked the social development department for assisting the family and Promise’s schoolmates with counselling, to help them deal with the trauma.

He was disappointed the family of the alleged perpetrator had not approached them.

“We expected his family to come and say something to us in the form of apology or something, but so far no-one has come.”

He said they understood that the family did not send their child to kill someone, but still expected elders to apologise as it would help them find closure.

“Even yesterday we were discussing it and I said that if they don’t want to come, we can’t force them. An apology must come from your heart.” he added.

The deceased will be buried on Saturday August 27.
