Popular actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to call for the commemoration of late Sylvester Oromoni’s 12th birthday at Dowen College premises.

The mum of one appealed to people in Lagos to leave flowers and gifts outside the school gate to mark the young champ’s posthumous birthday.

Sylvester was a student of the college who died after he was allegedly beaten up by his seniors for not joining their cult. The deceased would have turned 12 today, December 4.

Taking to her Instagram page, Tonto wrote,

“I woke up with so much pain. How do you lose a child in a safe zone and whose birthday is today? Sending love and light to Master Sylvester’s family and loved ones. Happy birthday young champ, we promise you justice. #justiceforslyvester
@dowencollegelagos, we will be leaving flowers and gifts outside your gate. Because today is a child please, if you are in Lagos, leave a little gift and prayer at the gate of Dowen College. Thanks.”

Meanwhile, Tonto has sent someone to deliver some flowers at the school gate on her behalf because she is not in Lagos presently.

The suspended Moja Love TV presenter has issued a statement through the family’s spokesperson, Andile Ngcobo.

A local publication has reported that Jub Jub is serving actress, Amanda du Pont with a letter of demand to retract and apologize for the defamatory allegations she made against him.

Maarohanye will also serve the same letters to radio personality, Masechaba Khumalo, and his cousin, Refilwe Khumalo.

Here Are Reasons To Implement immediate Lockdown Level 4 From Monday Until 05 January 2022

It has been more than a month since South Africa has placed on level one lockdown. It was elevated to a new level as a result of a significant drop in the number of daily cases that were being reported. On September 30, 2021, we made the transition from adjusted level 2 to level 1. Since then, there has been encouraging evidence that we are actually on the verge of defeating this pathogen. However, there were usually large gatherings and demonstrations for political advocacy campaigns even during the local government elections, despite the fact that the number of daily instances was extremely low.

However, immediately following the elections, the number of reported instances began to climb once more, albeit this time in a more normal manner. Following the increase in the number of daily cases, it was stated that the fourth wave of COVID had been found in Mzanzi, just a few days after the increase in the number of daily cases. Many folks were taken aback because they believed we had genuinely triumphed over the odds.

The President delivers a speech to the country shortly after the detection of the fourth wave. Everyone had been anticipating his arrival. He was supposed to switch the lockdown level from one that had lax controls to another that had stricter regulations as quickly as possible, but he didn’t. The president instead indicated that the country will remain at level 1. People were pleased when this information was made, and several expressed their delight by saying that they would be able to enjoy the holiday season this year, as opposed to the previous year.

The bad news is that the number of new cases has steadily climbed, and this has had a negative impact. This suggests that the level 1 limitations are not strict enough to prevent or reduce the spread of this infection, and instead are making the situation worse rather than better. The total number of new cases that were recorded yesterday was 16366. Is a more stringent lockdown level required in this situation?

Following all of this, I produced an opinion in which I recommended that the president implement a more stringent lockdown level 4 from as early 06 December 2021 to 5 January 2022, starting as soon as possible. Because it is the holiday season, people will be traveling from one place to another, spreading the virus to different people. By doing so, we will be able to slow the spread of this virus. Higher education is on the verge of being phased away. Students will be moving from one province to another during their time in the program. Those who have traveled to other provinces for jobs or for other reasons will be returning to their native province. Some people will be taking a vacation. As a result, the lockdown must include a prohibition on interprovincial travel as well as a prohibition on the sale of alcoholic beverages because those who are intoxicated do not adhere to the rules. One measure that needs to be implemented is a ban on unvaccinated people from going to the grocery store since they put others who have been vaccinated at risk of contracting a disease.

A man who goes by the name Lloyd Matlou took to Facebook to warn all South Africans about the blue Toyota Venture (pictured above).

A man by the name of Lloyd Matlou on Facebook posted a picture of a blue Toyota Venture which was passing by and alleged that the four occupants inside the vehicle had robbed a couple of white kids of their cellphones at Wonderpark earlier today 4 December 2021.

In his Facebook statement, he also urged South Africans to spread information about the incident, “If you know of any white kids who were robbed of cell phones around Wonderpark today by four guys riding a sky blue Toyota Venture please inform them someone spotted the incident and took the image seen here” he wrote.

Hopefully, the person who took the picture of the vehicle has reported the number plate registration to the police, South Africans should be extremely careful this festive season because there are a lot of robbers who looking for victims.

Another big South African fighter passed away

Death had got South Africa left poor once again. You might highly agree with me when I tell you this, the year 2021 was nothing but a bad year for most big well-known families in the country as we have lost so many lives in this year including the majority of celebrities.

To all those who got their loved ones lost may the almighty continue to comfort them. We have learned about the prominent people who sadly passed away this year, the likes of Shona Ferguson, Menzi Ngubane Sharleen Surtie Richards, and many more.

The recent news was the passing of Economic Freedom Fighters Philip Mhlongo. Mhlongo was reported died on Tuesday this week, His pictures were currently trending on social media as friends and family are paying tribute to him. His death came as a shock to so many people in South Africa.

Mhlongo has based at Umsinga based parliament. He was very well known for serving as an Economic Freedom Fighters Provincial Command member unrest. He also worked at Umkhonto Wesizwe MK in the early 80s.

According to Social Telecast,” On his Twitter account, Phillip Mhlongo had more than 2k followers who followed him and took a trace of his life through his tweets. After his death news circulated on the internet, Johann Abrie took to Facebook to remember the late politician. Johann wrote that he knew Phillip for over 15 years and that they were really close. He added that ever since they shared the good news of becoming the founding members of COPE, they never agreed on anything and had different opinions and ideas. It was really shocking that they did not have anything in common but they still connected.

“Johann further wrote that he heard about Phillip’s sudden death this morning and since then he is in extreme pain. It came forward that Phillip was a great political commentator and had a sharp mind. At one time when Phillip was invited to a radio station where a debate was already going on, he didn’t fear anything and still emerged out as the one having strong vocal opinions. It is extremely saddening to learn about the passing of EFF member Phillip Mhlongo who was nothing but a great human being. However, Phillip’s cause of death has not been revealed yet and it is still unknown to many.”
