A man suspected to have raped a four year old at Block 5 location in Francistown was on Thursday remanded in custody by a Francistown Magistrates Court.

Ndinaye Mathumo, 27, is accused of raping the minor on December 28th. The little girl has since been admitted at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital where she’s undergoing treatment.

Mvelo Gumede vanished while playing in the yard at his home in Sun Sickle in Lotusville, Verulam, on Wednesday night.

As per Prem Balram of Response Unit SA, the kid’s dad reached them for help.

Gender based violence pandemic has spread all over the age groups,even the elderly people have now joined the young people.A sixty one years old man by the name of Seema had brutally attacked his fifty nine years old partner in the province of Mpumalanga vaalbank,it is said that Seema and his female partner had an argument on the twenty third of December,the woman decided to leave the man alone and went on to sleep with his sister on the other room in the same house after she failed to kick Seema out of the house that night.In the middle of the night,Seema went to the sister’s room with a knife and started stabbing his partner on the upper body before pouring her with a boiling water.The sister tried to stop Seema but she was unsuccessful,Seema went on to take a garden fork and stabbed the victim,he went on to set the house alight after locking all the exit points.The sisters called for help and the community woke up in time and broke the windows and burglars to set the victims free,the two kids that were sleeping in the other room and Seema’s partner were taken to the hospital for treatment.The fire rescue team came on time and managed to extinguish the fire.Seema went missing on the scene after being rescued by the community,the police have been looking for Seema since then,it was not known where has he been.Seema had on Tuesday the third of January handed himself over to the police.The whole 61 years old man,is capable of doing such a heinous crime and evade the arrest for almost two weeks.The police needs to up their game,there might be someone who have been hiding the suspect,it migh be the very same person who advised him to hamd himself over to the police before this matter gets out of hand.

Many people have been calling for the government to tighten security at the border so that those illegal foreigners who went home can never come back. Following all that, yesterday there was heavy traffic that was spotted at the Zimbabwean border; people were just standing there trying to gain entry to South Africa, although they didn’t have proper documentation. There is a video of a group of Zimbabweans who can amount to thousands illegally crossing the border.

They use a very high and risky way to come to South Africa: they climb an arc bridge and walk up there on the steels, then they use a rope to slide down. Looking at the height of that bridge, if a person falls, he can die. Other than those who were on the Arc Bridge, there are some in the far back if you watch the video well; they were just standing there as they were taking turns crossing.

After the video was posted, many people were left so angry. Not long after, the minister of home affairs said they upgraded the border fence, but look how easily these people are crossing. In the comments section, people were mentioning police as well as border security so that they could see how these foreigners were illegally crossing the border. This is an insult to the country and its laws; foreigners are starting to disrespect the South African law, and if we don’t act now, we won’t be able to control them anymore.

The Pit Bull Federation of SA (PBFSA) has been calling Pit bull Owners to hand over their dogs to the nearest police station. Pit bull has been recognized as a dangerous animal which does not deserve to stay with people or in the community. We have recently heard many deaths caused by Pit bull in the past few weeks. Not long ago, we recently read an article about a man from Limpopo who was also killed by a Pit bull.

According to the source, the Police have arrested a 62-year-old woman after her dog attacked and killed a woman two before Christmas. The accident took place on a small farm in Limpopo. According to the statement given by the police, 43-year-old Melitta Sekole died after she was admitted to hospital after being attacked by Pit bull.

News24 reported that the victim was walking around the street when the dog started to attack her. The police spokesperson found that Sekole’s clothes were ripped off and her body was bitten by the dog. It is believed that it’s a Pit bull that killed 43-year-old Melitta Sekole.

62-year-old woman has been arrested after she was charged with culpable homicide. The woman made her first appearance in court, where she was denied bail. Her matter has been postponed, and she’s expected to make her appearance again in court on Thursday.

Residents in Johannesburg woke to a horrific scene earlier this morning

The South African Police Service (SAPS) members were called for assistance by community members in Westbury, Johannesburg and upon their arrival at the scene they found a deceased body of a male victim laying on the street.

According to a article written by Make South Africa safe news page today, Tuesday, 3 January 2023 a male victim was was gunned down by an unknown gunman in Westbury, Johannesburg (Gauteng Province). Paramedics and the South African Police Service (SAPS) members were dispatched to the scene.

Upon their arrival, the victim was declared deceased after showing no signs of life, circumstances leading up to his murder have not yet been established at this stage.

A case of murder is being investigated and anyone who has information that could assist in the investigation should contact the saps phone number or report at the nearest police station, information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

In the video above , Kedisaletse was narrating how three men raped her and how she was turning the pain into hope . From the 0:11- 0:27 minutes , the 49 year-old said that she was still angry with what happened to her . She said that she would have been HIV negative had she not been raped by the first attacker .

She went on and said that when she was being raped for the second time , she informed her attacker regarding her HIV status . In response , the attacker allegedly said that he was not afraid of her positive HIV status . The third attacker was not moved either by her positive HIV status .

Between 0:27 and 0:54 minutes , the rape survivor likened being raped to death . She said that rape was a form of killing in which someone would take away one’s dignity . Its good to note that Kedisaletse said that as a survivor , she was educating members of the community about rape .

It is heartbreaking that rape cases continue to surge in South Africa despite the efforts that are put in place to put an end to the ordeal . In accordance with the SABC , there were more than 10 000 rape cases that were reported in South Africa between the months of July and September 2022 . This shows that there is a long way to go before Gender-Based Violence can come to an end in South Africa .
