Just a few weeks ago, there was a trending story of a boy who beat himself up at school after he was accused of sexually abusing one of his schoolmates. Just a few days ago, there was a trending story of a deputy principal who got beaten by the community after he was caught sleeping with a student. Although they might have agreed, it is against the law for a teacher to have a personal relationship with a learner; it is regarded as rape.

Just when we thought we had seen it all, there is another trending story of a learner who decided to take her life after she was allegedly sexually abused by her teacher. According to the reports, a 14-year-old learner by the name of Thando from Imbali combined in an orange farm She committed suicide. On Monday, after being sexually abused by a teacher, according to reports, the victim became pregnant. It is said that her friends attested that before she committed suicide, she had been crying that her teacher had raped her.

What makes this story even more upsetting is that the teacher is a Zimbabwean. People have been calling for the employment of foreigners to come to an end, but they are not being listened to. How can a person who just came to this country be trusted with children? Zimbabweans continue to make our lives a nightmare; we can barely go a day without hearing about the evil things done by a Zimbabwean.

Sad! SAPS Mourns Policeman Who Drowned In Soweto Floods RIP

RIP: The SAPS mourns the policeman who perished in the Soweto floods.

The national police commissioner of South Africa has expressed its sincere condolences to the family of a police officer who drowned in the Soweto floods.

The 36-year-old Warrant Officer Ntsako Pataka was reportedly driving a private vehicle when it was swept away on Friday during the intense downpours, according to SAPS.

He had been off-duty.

General Fannie Masemola expressed his sincere condolences and said the member’s body was found in Soweto on Sunday morning.

The member’s body has been recovered by Search and Rescue (SAR) teams since Friday.

Pataka worked for the Division: Protection and Security Services as an in-transit VIP Protector.

When he joined the SAPS in 2007, he had been a member for 15 years.

For their “untiring efforts” in locating the policeman’s body, Masemola thanked the SAR team and other emergency personnel.

“This is a tragic conclusion for the SAPS and the member’s family; we had hoped for a successful outcome. We appreciate the efforts of all teams involved in this operation in locating the body of the deceased member, Masemola said.

“To Warrant Officer Ntsako Patako, I would like to express my gratitude for choosing to serve your country with honor and zeal up until your untimely passing. May your soul find eternal peace, said Masemola.

According to national police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, Pataka’s family, friends, and coworkers have access to internal psychosocial services.

Emergency personnel have been very busy since last week.

On Friday, rescue operations were required for passengers stranded on a bus that was filling with water in Orlando and Soweto.

In a panic, a female bus passenger reported that the bus was rapidly filling with water and she immediately dialed Kyle van Reenen at Emer-G-Emergency Med’s Operations Center.

He claimed that all 60 passengers were saved.

The City of Johannesburg reported that the infrastructure on many roads had been severely damaged.

Couple that faked death to get insurance payout is desperate for bail

The Knysna couple that hit the news headlines after falling death so that they could get an insurance payout is now desperate for bail.

But it is another weekend in jail for the couple who were living in the Garden Route town when they were arrested by the Hawks last month for allegedly faking Robbie Smith’s death and accepting a R1.7m life insurance payout from Old Mutual when they lived in Gauteng 23 years ago.

Smith, 67, took on an alias and his wife, Alice Abigail Smith, 59, became known as Alice Abigail Boshoff.

For 14 years, they got away with the alleged crime in Knysna, where they owned a video store and then Knysna Auto Repairs.

During their arrests on November 8, police also allegedly found illegal firearms — a pistol and shotgun — and ammunition.

They have been charged with contravening the

Firearms and Ammunition Act, which carries a prescribed minimum sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment.

That case will be heard in Knysna and then the fraud matter will be heard in a Gauteng court.

The couple, represented by attorney Daan Dercksen, first appeared in court on November 9, then for a bail application date on November 16.

On November 22, they appeared again, but the matter was postponed to November 28. Smith is incarcerated in the Knysna prison while his wife is in a women’s prison in Oudtshoorn.

They were brought from their respective prisons on November 28, but the case was again not heard because Dercksen was sick.

On Thursday, they finally appeared in court and their bail application was introduced via a 26-page affidavit later that afternoon.

The couple, though looking forlorn in the dock, showed little emotion when they heard they would remain in custody.

Their daughter, 38, and two adult grandchildren who lived with their grandparents for many years, have been present at every court appearance.

Sinoxolo Gcilitshana is currently trending all over social media for all painful reasons earlier this week it was confirmed that he’s no longer alive.

He was one of the brightest minds to ever emerge in recent history. His sad passing was confirmed by the University of Free State they even went as far as describing his sad passing as tragic. May his soul rest in peace.

He predicted his death and was gunned down 11 hours later RIP

Members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Mitchells Plain are currently investigating the murder of Shakeel Adonis (pictured above). A few hours before he was gunned down, Shakeel had a premonition that he was going to die.

According to the Daily Voice, on Wednesday, 30 November, Shakeel said on Facebook, “Not frightened to die I already have somebody on the other side waiting for me,” and 11 hours later he was killed near the corner of Cricket and Rugby streets in Mitchells Plain.

On the day he died, he informed his family that he was going to see a friend, and as he walked up the road, he was assaulted by unknown shooters who shot him many times before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle. Medics at the site confirmed Shakeel’s death when he showed no signs of life.
