Life of girl who escaped from alleged rapists to be celebrated with parade

South Africans were left in shock after it emerged that a young teenage girl manage to escape her captors but later on died at a police station.

15-year-old Zenizole Vena painfully passed away in the hands of Sindiswa Ntantiso at Motherwell police station.

The Eastern Cape health department has since disputed that Zenizole was turned away at the clinic.

She was last seen by her family on Saturday September 17.

The parade has been arranged by MoJazz Kids Community Development.

The organisation will also host her memorial service.

The parade starts at 3pm in Ngwelwana Street and ends at the Emmanuel Church of Christ in NU11.

The memorial service will be held at the church.

Health department spokesperson Yonela Dekeda said a preliminary report indicated that Vena was attended to at the clinic and was found to be clinically stable..

Dekeda said Zenizole was then referred to the police.

Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu said that at about 6.40am Ntantiso had found Zenizole on the street and the teenager appeared to be sick and was crying.

Naidu said it was alleged that she was raped by two men known to her.

Something drastic must be done about this murder cases of woman and children. It’s getting out of hand. Each day we heard more than one case of a man shot and killed their girlfriend or wife. It’s heartbreaking what the country is going through.

As long as our country doesn’t want to bring back death penalty, then we would always singing condolences each and everyday to the victims of GBV whilst the murders being taken to jails to enjoy free basic needs. We must forget about ending the GBV as the society, our government is failing the women of this country.

We recently heard about the murder case of young and beautiful 28-year-old of Dimpho Skelenge who were murdered by her abusive boyfriend. Dimpho had moved 9n on a new location because her ex-boyfriend were allegedly abusive towards her. She moved in new place from Ashton to Caledon to start a new job where her boyfriend even followed her.

Dimpho Skelenge’s ex-boyfriend followed her seeking to ask forgiveness from her. Dimpho refused to accept her ex-boyfriend’s apology little did she knew that he was going to killed her by stabbing her to death. It was reported that her has been arrested. The neighbors said that they heard some noise in her flat in the morning but afterwards there was no reactions heard.

Women should not wait for a person to change, immediately when a person shows the aggressiveness whether your love relationship has six months or two months or or even 3 years, get out while there’s still time. If you think someone abusive could change, you might be in for surprises and you might end up dead.

Being in a relationship is scary these days because people seem to believe that violence is the only way to solve problems. In most cases of gender-based violence or people killing each other, the root of the problem is usually denial of the breakup or when the other partner starts to have extra-marital affairs. Although we were celebrating women’s month and raising gender-based violence awareness last month, we are still waking up to hear reports about people killing each other, mostly men killing women.

A few days ago, there was a trending story about a lady called Palesa Mahlamela. Palesa dressed up and left the house for a party with her boyfriend. It was unfortunate that Palesa didn’t return home that day. The following day, her mother received a call alerting her that Palesa was at the hospital but she was dead. When the family arrived, they found their daughter in a pool of blood. She was taken to the hospital by her husband. Because they know that she has been in an abusive relationship, they suspect that her husband must be the one who killed her because he had been abusing her for too long and she kept on hiding it.

Following all that, there was an alleged voice note of the husband confessing that he killed Palesa, but it was a mistake since they were all drunk. According to the statement by the family, he was sending the voice note to one of his friends, and later on Wednesday, he handed himself over to the police.

The family said they want justice for their daughter and they don’t know if they will be able to attend the court because looking at their daughter’s killer will be one of the hardest things since they heard his alleged voicemail confessing. Please ladies, Stay away from abusive men. It might be hard to leave a relationship, but it will be even harder for your family to see you laying lifeless in a pool of blood. RIP Mother And Daughter Shot Dead By Father, See What Pushed Him To Kill His Family

Hilton van Zyl, 48, shot dead Annastasia van Zyl, 44, and her 15-year-old daughter Cassidy Van Zyl. Hilton allegedly shot himself following the horrible occurrence on September 25, 2022, at Kuils River, Cape Town.

Hilton allegedly went out for drinks, returned home, and began yelling with his wife. He then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot her, followed by his daughter. While on her bed, Annastasia was shot in the back. Cassidy, the daughter, was hit in the head with a bullet.

According to SAPS, Hilton gave his son a gun after the encounter and told him to shoot him. When the son refused, his father attempted to shoot him. The son fled unharmed and reported the event to the authorities. Hilton went on to shoot himself in the head.
The pair allegedly divorced, and Hilton allegedly had a drinking problem and was aggressive to his wife and children. Because of his behaviour, Annastasia chose to divorce him.

South Africa is not only one of the country’s with the highest rate of femicide, it is also becoming a very unsafe place for women to live in. A woman living in the country has a high chance of being killed that dying of natural causes.

Women in the country are killed every single, most of these women who are killed are mostly killed by men, sometimes men that they know, be it their domestic partners, their relatives, their mates, their neighbours etc. Cases where perpetrators are strangers are not as common as those that perpetrators are someone known to the victims.

The list of women who are killed keeps getting long, and that is a sad reality. Abongile Doritile unfortunately joins the list of many women who are killed senselessly in the country.

According to the source, the 35 year-old woman from Khayelitsha was found dead about a week ago, her 4 month old son has been kidnapped.

It was shared that her boyfriend, who is allegedly abusive has been questioned about the murder and the disappearance of the son but no one has been arrested.

The sad reality is that, these senseless killings of women in the country are starting to feel like a norm, the rate if this crime keeps going up by the day.

Hero Taxi Driver Being Congratulated For Saving 15 Lives In Pongola Accident

Meet the driver who saved lives of 15 passengers and many people would like to congratulate him for his good driving skills, the taxi driver was able to ensure that he avoids the accident.

Which was certainly coming for him as well as the passengers of the car and the incident could have definitely ended his life, as well as the lives of the passengers of the vehicle.

People are simply congratulating him and recognizing that his skills are very impressive considering that he just saved 15 lives, more than a lot of people can say because of what he has done.

He managed to avoid the whole situation and you could see the vehicle was certainly headed for him and he simply avoided it, which could have happened.

Unfortunately for the other people who happened to be in other people’s vehicles, they faced a certain death and they died in that incident. That accident simply claimed many lives of people and till this day there are a lot of people who are reeling in shock, to the fact that this truck driver was in a situation where he was running away from the police.

Unfortunately, he crashed into a Bakkie that happened to be coming from school and which also happened to have about 20 children loaded up at the back. The incident was quite tragic because the Bakkie driver was completely in the right, but the truck driver chose to the end people’s lives because he was running away from the police.

A lot of people on social media have gone on to congratulate him and speak well of his driving skills, because they’re the ones that saved the many lives of their children. We hope that we can have more drivers like this, who will be able to use their skills in order to avoid incidences that would otherwise claim their lives.

A 15-year-old who was gang raped, died at a police station after she was turned away at the clinic.

A 15 year old was held hostage and gang raped for three days in eastern cape. The 15 year old girl managed to escape from the place and she went straight to Motherwell clinic in eastern cape. The nurses told her that she should have went to the police station first before coming to the clinic. They told her that they cannot help her. The young lady left the clinic and went to the police station. Unfortunately she collapsed and died in the hand of a woman on the police station floor.

The nurses who refused to help her must be arrested. They should have atleast checked her and gave her some pills. They were supposed to give her the best support. The young lady was traumatized yet they send her away.

The people who kept her captive and gang raped her are still on the run. We hope and pray that the police must arrest them.

This man is a renowned dancer, radio presenter, Ntambudzeni Rasendedza, better known as Bundu. He was given a sentence yesterday Wednesday, 28 September to spend 10 years behind bars, Sibasa Regional Court found him guilty of attempted murder.Bundu’s trial lasted for two years before he was sentenced yesterday. It is said that he kidnapping his own girlfriend and beaten her up before attempting to kill her. This case against him took time to pass, with the grace of God he was found guilty and given a sentence that suite him.

He tried very hard to run but the law managed to catch him at the end. God is good you can never hurt a woman and expect to walk free.

The late presenter and author Bongani Mavuso, a writer and host on Ukhozi FM, has passed away. His brother Majuba Mavuso told SowetanLIVE that Mavuso, who was supposed to have fun on his forty-sixth birthday on Thursday, passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness at a sanatorium in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal.

On Monday, Mavuso, who hosted an Ezangempelasonto show on Saturday and Sunday, was admitted to the sanatorium. “Bongani was rushed to the hospital on Monday, but we did not anticipate that it would be serious. Mavuso is a poet, writer, and recipient of the Literary Journalism Award. He was born in Dumbe, also in the northern part of KZN. His poem Intsika Yethongo won second place in the Avbob Poetry Competition this past week.

Mavuso honored a lot of people who made a difference in South Africa through his foundation, in addition to his radio show. Kunene stated, I struggle to accept that Mavuso is no more. He was a wonderful individual with brilliant concepts. He took the initiative to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves in extraordinary fields.

“It was the first time I had been honored and received an R30,000 award. My family really benefitted from that money. His passing disturbs us greatly. Mavuso collaborated with maskandi singer Mbuzeni Mkhize among other artists. Mkhize said that Mavuso was sincere, humble, and respected by everyone.
