The level of crime in South Africa is proving to the country that the level of unemployment among the youth is not good. This is because most of the crimes that are recently committed in our community are when the youth are involved and this is because the people that have degrees and diplomas are not given the time to express their skills.

In the last few days in the Vhembe District, a lot of kidnapping have been reported from Shayandima and Nzhelele. These crimes were both reported within 24 hours and the people in the Limpopo province are fully sure that the crimes might be committed by the same person.

The people of Limpopo today did the most unexpected thing after one driver was burnt alive for doing this. The driver was caught red-handed kidnapping two children and the community members were so alerted when this happened. The community surrounded the driver when he was escaping from the large group of taxi drivers that were on the run to save the children’s lives. The kidnappers were both Zulu people when they were gathered by a large group of people that helped to save the lives of the two young girls.

The community members were both angry when this event occurred in their eyes as the rate of kidnapping in the district is proving to be a pandemic within a short time. The community members urgently saved the lives of the two girls that were kidnapped as one driver was arrested and will be expected to appear in magistrate court in the next days to come. Family members are also encouraged that they must always be cautious of the people that are roaming around the areas as their young children are now a target of kidnapping.

Bad news to South Africans

Without any reasonable doubt, loadshedding and other type of power cuts are not treating South Africans good since it is coming with so many burdens to people’s lives.

Many small businesses are closing down, with so many people now losing their income streams due to electricity problem in the Republic of South Africa.

Eskom which is the sole power supply in the Republic of South Africa had shared the bad news with South Africans, informing communities that they will implement loadshedding once again today.

“As previously communicated, Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented at 16:00 – 24:00 this afternoon and at the same time on Thursday afternoon”, says Eskom.

This will add pressure on people and businesses whom already are struggling to the core.

In the meantime government wants to increase road tax and force people to buy electric cars! How will electric cars help the grid when 1 car takes enough power to provide power to a neighborhood?

Mamkhize slept heartbroken last night

The pressure will now go towards Shawn Mkhize who’s best known as Mamkhize.

However, Orlando Pirates secured their 3 points and a maximum of one goal against Royal Am of which of course set Mamkhize to sleep with a broken heart .

ANC In Shock As Another Struggle Stalwart Dies

Barely a month following the death of ANC deputy secretary-general Yasmin ‘Jessie’ Duarte, the organisation has been rocked again by death of another influencial struggle stalwart.

According to the SABC News, Rita Alice Ndzanga has sadly passed away. The cause of her death was not confirmed, but she was of the elderly age of 89.

Ndzanga played a significant role in the fight against Apartheid colonialism, her legacy as an uncompromising trade unionist in the 1950s, is well-documented.

She cut her teeth in the trade union by joining the Railway Workers Union in the mid-50s, wherein she held a position of secretary with unparalleled success. She would subsequently serve in the South African Congress of Trade Unions (SACTU) with equal success.

We recently celebrated Women’s Day on August 9, which commemorated the Women’s March of 1956, Ndzanga was part of the march, alongside other women stalwarts such as Sophia De Bruin, Albertina Sisulu, etc. That’s how important she was in the struggle.

Her family, particularly her husband Lawrence, was also an active struggle hero, who fought tooth and nail against the repressive Apartheid regime.

They were both detained in 1976 on charges of Terrorism, and for which her husband unfortunately died due to a mysterious heart attack while incarcerated.

Ndzanga has been a revered figure in the post apartheid South Africa, her significant contributions to the struggle were rewarded when she was conferred the ‘Order of Luthuli’, which is given to individuals who contributed to South Africa in the struggle for democracy, justice and peace, or conflict resolution, building democracy and human rights, nation-building.

She was seen in the public as recent as on August 7, where she attended and spoke at an event organised by the Kathrada Foundation.

It is one’s view, therefore, that leaders of Ndzanga’s moral etiquette should have multipled in the ANC, as her death comes at a time the ANC is bereft of real leadership, especially in her home province, where governance has reached an all-time low with service delivery a thing of the past.

She’s survived by four children and a multiplicity of grandchildren.

Meanwhile, at his press briefing in Bhisho, Mabuyane confirmed that his new cabinet will be reconfigured and the new cabinet is as follows: Siphokazi Mani – Human settlements, Gloria Fanta – Social Development, Nonceba Khontsiwe – Sport and recreation, Zolile Williams – COGTA, Xolile Nqatha – Public Works, Ntombovuyo Nkopane – DRDAR, Nonkqubela Pieters – Transport, Khosi Nongqayi – Health, and Gade – education.

One of the most senior leaders who has been fired, is former MEC for transport, Weziwe Tikane, who is a cousin of ANC national chairperson, Gwede Mantashe.

She apparently fell on her sword due to her allegiances to the RET slate during the provincial conference.

Babalo Madikizela, the man who contested Mabuyane at the conference and lost, spared himself the embarrassment of being fired by pre-emptively resigning a couple of weeks ago. It was anticipated that he would be dispensed with.

Mzansi Kwaito legend passed away in his sleep. The family says this is the cause of death RIP

Former TKZee member and a Kwaito legend has passed away. According to entertainment Commentator, Phil Mphela an official statement on his passing states that Magesh had an epileptic seizure which sadly took his life. Reports state his body always discovered by a relative and it is believed he died in his sleep.

Tokollo Tshabalala was a South African Kwaito musician born on 14th October in 1976 in Johannesburg in South Africa. He was a student at St Stithians College and started his career as part of the group Mashsmplani in 1995 before later joining high school friends to form TKZee. Tokollo Tshabalala according to Forbes has over time built a strong fan base which has given them that much-needed publicity not just in the country but globally and they are highly respected in the South African music industry. Their popularity has seen them win series of awards and sign endorsement deals on daily basis.

SAMRO has also released a statement. “It is with great sadness to note the passing of Tokollo ‘Magesh’ Tshabalala. Known affectionately as ‘Magesh’, Tshabalala passed away this morning as a result of an epileptic seizure. He will be missed by his family, friends and fans. According to the reports, Siphokazi was found dead after she was murdered by her boyfriend back in the final days of July. She was found dead on the 31st of July, as she was heavily hit by a hot plate stove in the head.

Now, it seems like the two had an argument which led to the guy hitting her on the head unintentionally, as the reports states that their neighbours heard Siphokazi screaming until 3am , as she was being beaten. However it was reported that the boyfriend later realised that he killed her and washed her up and then dressed her up as well and fled the scene.

Now, a lot of people are so angry , and their rage is caused by the neighbours of Siphokazi, who heard a fellow apartment mate dying and screaming for help , and did nothing while they had cellphones. The government must bring back the death penalty so that these individuals that commit crime or fear to do so, as they will be aware that they will also face serious consequences that will cause a lot of pain to their own families…as much as they are causing pain to the families of their victims. Many people are not stopping to commit crime as it is because, they can see that the government is failing to put stricter laws in plac which prevent them from committing crime.
