Freak Accident to Another Top PSL Player

Freak Accident to Another Top PSL Player

Matsatsantsa was playing a tough game against Moroka Swallows at the Dobsonville Stadium, with their key midfielder Sipho Mbule being absent from the game that was surely one of the most important games in the league fixture for the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season.

Information has come out from the club that the 23 years old midfielder was absent as a result of a shoulder injury, coming from what has been called a “freak accident” he sustained at his home. It is believed that he will be out for two or more weeks.

Mobile will be now the second player to suffer from this “freak accident” after Orlando Pirates star player Thembinkosi Lorch also suffered an accident at home some days ago.

However, Kaitano Tembo dealt with being without Mbule as they managed to see get past Swallows with a very impressive 3-0 Victory, with the goals coming from Jamie Webber, Teboho Mokoena, and Thamsanqa Gabuza. He will however be hoping that Mbule, who was given the number 10 jersey this season can make a very quick return as he is one of the most influential players Supersport has at the moment.

Matsatsantsa now sits second in the league table after four games, just two points behind leaders and defending Champions Mamelodi Sundowns who are at the top with 10 points.

Supersport will continue with their league duties when they welcome Maritzburg United in Pretoria on Saturday afternoon, looking to build on their good start to this season.
