Organizer fume as Kelly Khumalo bolts with R30K moments before performance

Organizer fume as Kelly Khumalo bolts with R30K moments before performance

Reality TV star and singer Kelly Khumalo left an event organizer with an egg on her face when she failed to perform.

Caroline Mosiamo, the founder of the South African Heroines Awards, claims Kelly was paid R30 000 in cash to perform in Bloemfontein in August. The event was meant to honor women, including those living with disabilities.

Caroline said Kelly wouldn’t get out of her car when it was time for her to perform and had still not given a reason.

Caroline said she just wanted her money back.

“We booked Kelly for R30 000. On top of that, we had to book a hotel for her, which she went to from the parking lot,” she said.

“Her rider request was that we buy alcohol and snacks and we spent R6 000 on this. We ended up giving it to people who attended the event.”

Caroline said Kelly arrived four hours late.

“I asked her manager if she could perform at our next event to make up for it but he told me Kelly wouldn’t because she spent money to travel to Bloemfontein,” she said.

“He didn’t say why Kelly decided not to perform. That means they are refusing to pay back the money.”

Caroline said if Kelly didn’t pay, she would contact her legal team for advice. She said her organization was an NGO and uplifted women.

“I am disappointed,” she said.

Caroline showed the SunTeam proof she had paid Kelly R10 000 on 4 August and R20 000 on 28 August.

Kelly had not responded to questions emailed to her at the time of going to print. Kelly also did not respond to calls. Daily Sun also contacted her PR team, who said questions were emailed to the star, but both and her team had not responded at the time of going to print.

Busisiwe Mkhwebane Makes Confessions That Shock South Africa

Date: 2021/09/30

The Public protector Busisiwe Mkwebane made confessions on her findings on Cyril Ramaphosa and multiple other high ranking ministers on the cabinet, firstly she exonerated the president saying there is nothing he did wrong this far, then he dived into Pravin Gordhan the minister of public enterprises, said the evidence that is on the table of him doing wrong things at Mango Airlines is insufficient so he also did nothing wrong according to the evidence that she has on her table, this shows that her team does not have the relevant resources to fight corruption in this country because where there is smoke there should be some sort of fire.

She also confessed about Floyd Shivambu’s brother on the VBS scandal that saw one of the biggest black-owned banks go to the dust because of money that was just dished out to people for no particular reason. It was reported that the money was paid back, but that should not be enough because someone should have been arrested for that whole thing, paying back the money is not the only thing as they knew that was wrong but they continued and misused the funds.

The South African politicians are very corrupt, at the same time they have the guts to promise people jobs while they steal from them non-stop. It will take time for this country to develop if we still have parties like the Economic Freedom fighters claiming to fight for the economy but they are fighting for themselves.
