Retired Ex-Pirates Star Is Living “Soft Life” In Italy [See Pics
For a retired former PSL Star to find himself living in Europe as a permanent residence is always something that is rare to be seen because of the high standards of living there compared to Africa.
However, for former Orlando Pirates midfielder Onyekachi Okonkwo it is not an issue as he now stays in Italy on full time basis following his retirement from proffesional football.
The 39 years of Nigerian is not just living in Italy for no reason as he is busy running his real estate business and also has a footballing agench which he has started.
While other players struggle following their retirement, the former Buccaneer says that he still lives the same comfortable life he used to live as a footballer.
“I am still living the same life I did when I was playing, and I travel to any place that I want to go to in this world though I am based in Milan since I have an Italian residency. I last played in Italy just before covid-19 started.”
Okonkwo retired at the end of last season after featuring for Cortone FC who play in the lower divisions of Italian football.
