The National Coronavirus Command Council has finally heard the people and made some changes to the current lockdown regulations. The country was on adjusted covid-19 alert level 1 with Curfew from midnight until 4:00 am.

The National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) took the decision of scraping Curfew with immediate effect. South Africa has lift-off Curfew, this means that it has been lifted for the first time since March 2020, with no restrictions on hours of movement.

Gatherings are restricted to no more than 1 000 people indoors and no more than 2 000 people outdoors.

According to the report from the office of the presidency, Alcohol establishments that have licenses to operate beyond 23h00 will revert back to full license conditions.
