American rapper, actress, and singer, Queen Latifah, hopes to one day work with her.

Pearl is currently trending, following her performance in the Netflix Movie, Fistful of Vengeance. The action movie, which was released on 17 February, is currently Number 1 globally on Netflix, causing waves in the United States, the United Arab and Brazil, and more.

In a video shared by Pearl on Twitter, Queen Latifah raved: “Pearl Thusi! What’s up? I just want to give you a shout-out and let you know sister you’re strong, you’re bad. I’m watching you do your thing. Keep doing your thing and one day maybe we get to do something together. That will be hot!”

Pearl Thusi was over the moon when Queen Latifah praised her: “I’m speechless. How I started my day… God is good. I’m really at a loss for words… Wow.”

In Fistful of Vengeance, she plays Adaku. The movie, a follow-up to the first season of the Netflix television series Wu Assassins, will see the Wu Assassin team reunite in Bangkok to avenge the death of one of their own, only to find that their new enemy is an ancient threat armed with otherworldly powers.

The Netflix hit was only released on Thursday but has already given Pearl Thusi “the best week” of her life, she said on Twitter.

“After Queen Sono got canceled, I was heartbroken- people celebrated my pain. I’m crying because God took time but he reminded me that I’m His.
I’m so emotional,” Pearl said soulfully.

South Africans have been showering her with love, praising her for killing her role. They also threw jests at Twitter influencer, Mr. Smeg, who went on a date with Pearl a few weeks ago.

SA Twitter was poking fun at him, telling him to close his eyes and not watch Pearl Thusi’s steamy sex scene in the movie.
