ANC suffered heavy loses in different provinces during last year’s local government elections, and this led some political analysts to predict that if this is something to go by, ANC might lose power completely in 2024.

Mbhazima Shilowa has however argued that it’s too early to conclude and ANC might still win in 2024 elections contrary to popular opinion.

Shilowa’s argument stems from the fact that history has shown that removing a ruling party from power is not an easy task no matter how powerful the opposition can be.

Some comrades who concur with Shilowa’s argument cites that the loses incurred by the ANC was as a result of those party members who boycotted elections as they were unhappy over several factors.

In Kwa-Zulu Natal province, where ANC also lost numerous key constituencies, party members there who support former president Jacob Zuma revealed that they boycotted local government elections because they were not happy over the arrest of Zuma.

They have however assured the movement that in 2024 they are going out in their numbers just like old times to vote for the ANC. It is therefore worthy to note that in Kwa-Zulu Natal province, the Zuma factor played a significant role on loses experienced by the ANC.

In other provinces including Free State, North West and Eastern Cape, ANC comrades were unhappy over what they called “flawed processes” leading to the local government elections.

They cited that some members who did not qualify for leadership positions were sneaked in through the back door, and in retaliation the ANC members couldn’t stomach voting for someone they had not nominated, but was imposed on them.

Critics who agree with Mbhazima Shilowa’s argument said ANC can still stand a chance to win in 2024 because in South Africa there is a famine of alternative politics.

“All we have are political egos as opposed to alternative policy choices for the electorate,” they argued.

After completing his education in Muranga, Francis moved to Nairobi in search of employment. Francis was born and reared in Muranga. As he worked quickly, he came upon a young lady whom he became very taken with. He proposed to her, and she accepted his offer to wed her.

He said that they had been bestowed with eight children and that in order to provide for them, they worked a variety of part-time jobs. However, when their youngest kid was two years old, it was their lastborn child. After being hospitalized to the hospital for a few days, his wife had a stroke that ultimately led to her death.

He said that following the passing of his wife, a number of people advised him to marry another wife so that she might assist him in the upbringing of their children. Because he continued to feel affection for his late wife, he found himself in a difficult situation. He was also concerned that his children, particularly the youngest one who was just two years old, might be abused by another lady.

Francis made the difficult decision to raise his children without the help of anybody else. He said that he had a hard time with it since he did not even know where to begin. After being let off, he began soliciting employment from his acquaintances, who offered him a variety of positions to fill. Francis was able to be a good parent to his children because to the support of his family members, who were there for him whenever he needed assistance.

I was barely able to provide for my family, but I never stopped believing in or supporting my kids. According to Francis.

He said that his children were put through a lot of hardships due to the fact that they did not have a mother figure to guide them and he was not very knowledgeable about how to assist them. Nevertheless, by the grace of God, they were able to educate themselves and create a life for themselves. When they were older, his sons were able to assist dad by securing a variety of occupations and ensuring that their younger siblings’ educational expenses were covered.

Francis said that all of his children are adults now and have moved out, leaving him to care for himself. He is miserable, and there are moments when he wishes he had found a wife and settled down. He forgot about himself and focused all of his attention on his children, who are now grown and have families of their own.

He is, however, proud of the fruits of his labor as well as the accomplishments of his children. He is certain that his wife, even in her postmortem state, is pleased with the accomplishments he has attained as a parent.

RIP Grandmother, mother and daughter were sadly killed in their home cruelly

The crime stats of the country increase each and every year, this year is no different. One of the most committed crimes in the country is femicide, the crime rate of femicide and gender based violence is amongst the highest in the whole world.

In South Africa, the chances of a woman dying in the hands of a man are higher than her chances of dying from a natural death. Women lose their lives daily in the hands of a man, and mostly it is to men known to them.

A mother, daughter and grand daughter are the latest victims of this crime, the trio were sadly strangled to death by a man they know.

65 years-old Zanele Ndlela 46 year-old Smangele Ndlela and 7 year-old Zenande Ndlela from Sobantu township, in KwaZulu Natal were murdered earlier this week.

According to the source, the grandmother, mother and daughter were strangled to death in their home, It is alleged that the mother (Smangele) and daughter (daughter) were also raped.

The source revealed that a 29 year-old man who is known to the family has been arrested for the rapes and murders, he was found in blood stained clothing.

The family was killed in their home, a place were they are supposed to run to and feel the safest in, the crime in this country is getting out of control.

Imagine losing your child and having strangers ridicule your parenting. All blaming you for your child’s death.

This is how Noluthando Nkani feels after her son died at Enyobeni Tavern in East London. Her 18-year-old daughter Inathi.

“Abantwana bethu pha” (we did not send our children there). It’s hurtful when people act as if we’re neglectful parents who want our kids to die at a bar. Abantwana baphume ezandleni (we discipline them but they go off track).

“Like me, some bereaved parents are single parents. I’m single. I do my best for my three kids. I had high hopes for my last child, Inathi.

Her daughter is kind, she says.

She liked family and friends. She was a nice person and well-liked in our neighborhood. She wanted to be a therapist.

Noluthando alleges Inathi left their Duncan Village home at 8pm Saturday night. She saw the grade 10 student last while with a friend.

“In 4am, her friend told me Inathi died at the tavern. This is made worse by her 20-month-old son.

Noluthando worries for her young family because they aren’t grieving.

“Thanks for your help.” The bodies are at Avbob because they offered to help. A church donated food, BCM provided free graves, and the ANC contributed tombstones. Noluthando, a general worker, would not have funeral money without donations.

Family of three (3) found killed in their home by a 29-year-old in Sobantu township, KZN.

Another tragic incident has shocked the residents of Sobantu township in Kwazulu-Natal.Three (3) family members, Zanela (65),Smangela (46), and Zenande Ndlela (7) were all found murdered.It is reported that Smangela and Zanande were raped by the 29-year-old suspect before he strangled them to death.Apparently the suspect is said to be known by the family yet he raped and killed the grandmother, mother, and daughter.

It is a very disturbing incident and SAPS have arrested the 29-year-old after he was found with blood stained clothing.

Residents are left heartbroken by the incident and plead the SAPS to make sure the 29-year-old pays for the deaths of the three (3) family members.The Gender-Based-Violence (GBV) continues and many young lives are getting lost.It is disturbing that a man can do such a tragic incident to the whole family that he is usually close to and well known.Seemingly the suspect knew that there is no man in the hous and took advantage of it.

The family was raped before getting killed by the 29-year-old suspect.

Mbalenhle (15), A Grade Ten Leaner who was a Sangoma Commited suicide.

Sangoma clothing on top of uniform at school, are distraught after her suicide on Sunday.

Mbalenhle Ngobese (15), a Grade 10 pupil at the school, who was a full-time sangoma following initiation earlier this year, was found hanging in a ditch near his home . Her cousin, Gugu Ngobese, said they were not sure why she had killed herself because she had not left a note.

SHe said that on the day of the incident, the deceased left the house after an argument with her brother.

“They argued that her brother had found out she was having an affair. Shee got tired of it, and went out. The family thought she was leaving because she wanted to get some fresh air and she would eventually be found hanging from a shirt she was wearing in a ditch near her home, ”said Ngobese.

SHe said this was not the first time she had argued with her brother, which was why they were confused as to why she had chosen to take her own life.

“We suspect she had a lot on her mind, including the problem she had with the school over the Ukuthwasa ,” said Ngobese.

Mbali made headlines earlier this month following reports that the Nombika school leadership had cut off her to wear “Ibhayi” over a school uniform.

At the time, she was told that the school had said that she had to choose between putting the “Ibhayi” under the uniform, not appearing or finding another school that would allow her to put it over the uniform as she wished.

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education in a statement expressed its condolences on the death of Mbali.

“The department intervened in the problem at school, the student went back to school to study like all children. The department wishes to extend its condolences to the student’s family and those close to her , ”the statement said.

Further added that according to circuit leadership information, the student had returned to write all the June exams.

We have revealed that officials in the Ilembe district have been sent to the student’s home to find out more about the death.

Police said they would be able to confirm once they received the details of the case.

Bad News for all South Africans

South Africa is currently facing many challenges right now, the high unemployment rate, high prices of petrol and electricity, the increased prices of basic food and necessities.

On top of everything that is happening in the country, there is load shedding in the middle of winter. It is very cold and electricity is under pressure.

Stage 2 and 4 load shedding has been going on for the past few days, the bad news is that Eskom implemented stage 6.

A statement was issued on Tuesday to inform South Africans that stage 6 loadshedding will be implemented at 16:00.

Stage 6 loadshedding will also be implemented tomorrow again.

Load shedding was first implemented in 2008, no one would have anticipated that it would go on for this long.

It looks like, the country is in for a dark and cold winter. We all know that loadshedding will not go away anytime soon.

This load shedding stage 6 was implemented to start right away and without warning, people were not given enough time to prepare themselves.
