A lady recently took to social media a picture of her room at a university residence. She has a single room with a small bed, a fridge, and a microwave. People couldn’t help but notice a few faults in relation to how her furniture was placed.

Basically, some mentioned that the fridge was too close to the bed, hence she should move it. Others were saying the lady should not have placed the microwave on top of the fridge. There were individuals who highlighted that she had a lot of electric extensions on the floor, which might cause danger.

Tragic Accident ‘Sh0cks’ Fikile Mbalula : RIP

South Africans awoke this morning to the distressing news that a Mpumalanga-based scholar transport had been involved in a horrible accident that claimed the lives of eight pupils and left a half-dozen more hospitalized with injuries.

It is believed that the driver of a 14-seater Toyota Quantum, which ironically had carried 18 pupils lost control of the automobile, which resulted in a crash resulting in the aforementioned casualties.

As is government protocol, the embattled minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula posted a statement on his official Twitter account this morning, expressing his great sadness and the utter shock the accident has caused him.

The minister indicated that the accident which is understood to have happened on Wednesday afternoon ironically occurred at a time he was in parliament addressing the phenomenon of road accidents.

Albeit Mbalula has commiserated with the families of the fallen pupils, perhaps he should seriously stop doing lip service to the issue of road accidents, there is an exponential rise of accidents in the country.

South Africa ranks 13th in World with regards to the number of deaths occurring on our roads. Quite curiously, the country’s road infrastructures is rated amongst the best in the World.

There has been a huge concern with regards to drinking and driving in the country, one cannot entirely rule out the possibility that the driver of the vehicle could have been intoxicated, although the jury remains out on that.

Our people are famously known for their insatiable love for booze, and as a consequence, in many instances, drunk driving hugely contributes to these accidents.

Possible Solution to curb the scourge of Road Accidents.

Perhaps lowering the speed limit on roadways, or even enhancing the visibility of traffic cops, would help to relieve this situation.

Another point to consider is that the country relied heavily on what was a highly successful rail system as a form of transportation in the 1990s; perhaps the time has come for the government to reconsider improving the rail system.

However, it is an undeniable indisputable fact that the rail system in the country is in tatters and remarkably dysfunctional.

This has mainly occurred because of the vandalism of infrastructure, which by the way reports indicate that there is a recycling syndicate for it.

This Is What Caused The Horrific Accident In Mpumalanga

The tragic accident that happened in Mpumalanga between Mayflower and Dundonald has been revealed what caused it.
Residents were left shocked after a report revealed what caused the horrific accident that took nine (9) lives of pupils. According to the report, the school transport (minibus) was actually not roadworthy and the driver also had no driver’s license. Apparently, the driver has been arrested and now facing nine (9) counts of culpable homicide. It is very disturbing that the lives of the pupils were out in danger for quite a long and parents did not know.

The minibus was in a bad condition to be on the road and had no permit to transport members in public.

Sadly an 8-year-old Nombuso Radebe, who was in grade (2) also died when the minibus overturned. It is very disturbing that nine (9) lives were lost in the hands of the driver that had no license.

Bodies of children scattered, Mzansi demands answers

Numerous South Africans are furious and they are demanding answers. This comes after a horrific accident that took place in Mpumalanga on Wednesday. The freak accident claimed nine young lives. According to Mweli Masilela, Newsroom Afrika journalist, the driver of a minibus the children were driven with did not have a permit to transport members of the public. The driver of the minibus didn’t have a driver’s license and he has since been arrested facing nine counts of culpable homicide.

The mini-bus they were traveling in overturned on the D267 between Mayflower and Dundonald in Mpumalanga. A preliminary report has revealed that the minibus wasn’t roadworks.

Bodies of children were found scattered all over the place. The body of another leader was only discovered today just by the river near Dundonald in Mpumalanga. The learner is one of those who were traveling in a minibus taxi that overturned on the D267 road. This brings the total number of learners who’ve lost their lives to nine. Ten other learners are still receiving treatment in the hospital.

Parents are demanding answers from the department of education and traffic management. How was this driver allowed to transport children under those circumstances? The mini-bus owner must pay for all the expenses for the funerals, some say. The owner of the minibus must be held responsible too how can he allow his minibus to transport leaners or be on the road while he knows exactly that is not roadworthy. This is sad.

And the same driver has been operating that minibus since the opening of schools or beyond, why didn’t the law enforcement pick this up? They, just like the driver, have failed these families and the county as a whole since this is our children as well. What about the parents? Why did they allow their children to be transported in such a vehicle? There are many irresponsible parties here. What are your thoughts?

Mother Allegedly Accused of Killing Her Ten Years Old Daughter

She is charged with first-degree reckless murder in the death of her 10-year-old daughter. Henrietta Rogers is the suspect.

Police were called to a home on N. 44th Street, just south of Hampton Avenue, on Thursday, Feb. 10. When officers arrived at the duplex, they found a 10-year-old girl who “looked to be deceased for several hours.” Jada Clay was recognized afterward.

Jada’s elder sister was interrogated by cops. The 10-year-old was “acting up” the previous evening by “refusing to allow the defendant to put braids in her hair,” the complaint alleges.

On Feb. 10, the 10-year-old still refused the braid treatment, the lawsuit claims. The elder sister told cops she “Heard a loud boom inside the bathroom and ran to investigate. As the elder sister approached the bathroom, she saw the defendant lying on the bathroom floor, his back to the rear wall. The bathroom vanity sink had come free from the wall and was falling towards the toilet. The defendant held a mirror that had fallen from the bathroom wall. The 10-year-old was also on the restroom floor, near the defendant’s knees and feet “the lawsuit alleges Jada’s older sister informed authorities she was uninjured at the time.

Rogers allegedly urged her kids to get ready for school and departed. After a while, the elder sister was worried about being late for school. According to the accusation, she approached the 10-year-room old’s and offered to walk her. The allegation claims the 10-year-old shut her room. So she departed, expecting her mother to arrive and take Jada to school.

After school, the defendant’s older sister called for a pickup. Rogers was silent. a ride from her elder brother When the two returned home, they “unlocked the door and entered the apartment, noticing the top unit was ajar and unlocked,” the lawsuit said. They got to Jada’s room, unlocked it with a screwdriver, and found her on the floor. the 911 call

On Feb. 10, just before 9 p.m., police were called to Schlitz park for “a woman weeping and asking for aid.” cops found rogers when they arrived “who seemed agitated. The defendant said he was out of gas and wanted to go home. “The defendant’s 10-year-old daughter…was just found murdered inside the defendant’s apartment,” cops said “the remark states.

The lawsuit states that when police approached Rogers for approval to search her home, she refused. Officers observed she didn’t inquire about her daughter’s health. “She grew irritated and asked why police were questioning the defendant,” the complaint alleges. rogers was apprehended.

The medical examiner ruled Jada Clay’s death as murder with hypoxia as the preliminary cause of death.

It also says “The defendant’s arms had several cuts and bruises. Plaintiff said she was hurt moving furniture.”

Rogers was due in Milwaukee County court on Feb. 15.

Sadness! 16 Years Old Boy In Limpopo Killed Himself Because Of This, See His Funeral

People in Limpopo were left reeling as they mourn the death of a sixteen years old boy identified as ” Ndivho Mathoma”. It was reported that the sixteen years old boy committed suicide in the morning last week on Tuesday. It is reported that he took pills to end his life and was confirmed dead at “Tshilidzi ” hospital. Such a young person who had a bright future ahead of him and decided to end his life. It is reported that the sixteen boys were living with his younger brother who is at primary school.

The two lost their parents when they were still young. He was the one who was taking care of his younger brother. It is reported that he felt useless sometimes as they would go to sleep without food on their stomach. Being poor made him believe that ending his life will be a better decision. Now his younger brother is left with no one as their parents have already passed away This is really painful and heartbreaking indeed. Losing such a young soul to this matter is really painful.

Community members donated money to help with funeral arrangements. Hundreds of people gathered at Tshikombani Nzhelele outside Thohoyandou to bid farewell to him. The funeral definitely went so well, what broke the hearts of people is seeing his church mates breaking down as the coffin was going down. They made him a top-class tombstone and ensured that he gets a well-dignified funeral. He has been remembered as a young and energetic humble man who would go to all levels to ensure that his younger brother was well taken care of. May his soul rest in peace.

Opinion: The country needs to teach people more especially young ones to speak out when going through challenges. Talking and seeking help from relevant people always helps. If he had found the help he wouldn’t have killed himself. It’s sad that we continue to lose young bright people because of depression.
