Rest In Peace: She Was Killed For Something She Didn’t Know
The first blessing of the day is undoubtedly being able to realize that another day has begun. There are a lot of individuals that get up to see a new day, but not all of us will make it to a new day because of the various things that might go wrong in our lives. Nowadays, it’s worse. It’s almost as if the angel of death is out in the world searching for new blood, particularly youthful blood. Even though death is painful, its impact is magnified when it isn’t a natural occurrence. There are persons who lose their lives simply because they were at the incorrect location at the incorrect moment. In contrast to the passing of a loved one who has been ill for some time, the news of such a death comes as more of a surprise. Even if you are not a criminal or engage in other negative behaviors in today’s society, there is no assurance that you will not one day wake up in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound. People are losing their lives as a direct consequence of the criminal activities of others in today’s society. just like Akeelah Schroeder.
Akeelah Schroeder, 13 years old at the time, was a victim of a shooting that occurred in The Hague, Delft, on Women’s Day, August 9, 2022. In the end, she was treated at the hospital till she passed away. She was allegedly on her way to the stores when she was singled out by members of a local gang and shot while she was in the process of crossing the street. We are unable to do so at this time! A war is being waged in this nation against the young people and the female residents of this country. It is time for it to be over with! On behalf of our other sisters, we are advocating for justice.
Our nation is going through a period in which women are forced to go through each day worrying about whether or not they will be the next victim. Due to the country’s exceptionally high crime rate, South Africa, which was before regarded as a secure country, has now become the kind of place that should be avoided at all costs. People used to be able to leave their homes at any time they chose in the past. However, in today’s world, in order to step foot inside a bar, one must first show proof of specific protection. Unfortunately, the reality of the issue is that Mzansi has become something different as a direct result of the unlawful activities that has taken place there. These lawbreakers regard it as a badge of honor to violate the rights of innocent people and act as if they are immune to the consequences of their actions. They violate the rights of innocent people and act as if they are immune to the consequences of their actions.
