Look What Fans Said After Sibisi Did This To Gaston Sirino After Pirates & Sundowns MTN 8 Match
To say the match between Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Pretoria-based club Mamelodi Sundowns was dramatic would be an understatement.
Usually, when two elephants collide, the grass suffers, and that was the case on Saturday, when we saw two of South Africa’s best teams go neck and neck, and it was full of excellence.
The match eventually ended in a goalless draw, but I was impressed, and fans are hoping the second leg will be as good as the first.
As the game came to a close, Pirates and Sundowns players were apparently involved in a heated exchange that the referee and his assistants had to settle.
The spectators were taken aback by the scene and reacted accordingly.
Gaston Sirino of Mamelodi Sundowns was seen being grabbed by Pirates’ Nkosinathi Sibisi and fans have weighed in on the issue.
Look at what this Twitter user thought was the cause of the player brawl.
According to the caption, Gaston Sirino was jokingly pleading with Pirates duo Olisa Ndah and Nkosinathi Sibisi to take his teammate Shalulile out of their pockets after successfully containing the striker for the entire 90 minutes.
Even thinking about it makes me laugh, but the Pirates defense was up to the task and kept out a threat posed by Shalulile and his teammates.
Sirino – Haikhona! Ndah and Sibisi, take out Shalulile from your pockets it's enough now! 😂 😂 😂 😂 pic.twitter.com/TxUHC0bU9m
