Check ‘RET’ Leader’s House That Got People Talking

27 years have come and gone since the democratic dispensation which ushered in a new dawn in this beautiful land of South Africa, in spite of that the subject of inequality in the country has been topical as it has been relevant. Many political scientists have ascribed the debilitating levels of inequality to many factors. Ordinarily, the issue of Apartheid colonialism remained uppermost, but in recent years, there has been a slight shift in terms of what is mainly causing inequalities and poverty.

Corruption has really apocalyptic proportions in South Africa. There had been a prevailing notion within society that sought to suggest that only at the height of the State Capture project during former President Jacob Zuma’s tenure, was just only the time state resources were pillaged and plundered.

Despite President Cyril Ramaphosa’s efforts to close the taps, some senior ANC leaders are still finding their way to the cookie jar, this was highlighted this afternoon by Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile Sambudla-Zuma, who took to her Twitter account to somewhat share an expose regarding ANC provincial secretary, Mdumiseni Ntuli.

She alleged that Ntuli benefitted from a gratuity of a whopping R80-Million, shall I repeat? – R80-Million, she did not specify where he got the money from, but allegations are that was a bribe for his to ensure the ANC lose its outright majority in the province of KwaZulu-Natal – a Mission Saboteur.

Quite curiously but interesting is the snaps of the house she also shared which purportedly belongs to Ntuli. From the picture below, is a multi-million rand mansion which is believed to be situated in KwaZulu-Natal. It is unclear how much it cost to build the house, but one can easily slap an R10-million tag, it is indeed luxurious.

This is despite Ntuli’s salary as ANC provincial secretary which ranges between R80-R100k.

Going back to the crux of the debate about inequality, it is one’s opinion that the subject of inequality will take years to decisively deal with, particularly as a mere provincial secretary can have that amount of riches all alone.

You can just imagine what his fellow comrades are also doing.

It remains a mystery why Zuma’s daughter came for launched the offensive against Ntuli, this is because prior to the highly-contested Nasrec elective conference, he was very much a part of Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma campaign along with the rest of the KZN ANC.

He was even regarded as a huge proponent of the Radical Economic Transformation (RET) agenda. But one feels he could have defected to the dominant faction of the moment, judging by the allegations leveled against him.

The allegations elicited extreme reactions from South Africans, with some demanding that he be investigated. Similarly, others were quick to remind Zuma’s daughter about her father’s multi-million rand Nkandla homestead which was constructed at the expense of taxpayers.
