RIP Schoolgirl Commits Suicide After Bullying Incident About Sangoma Calling

Many people are heartbroken to learn of the actions that this young child has taken to end her own life, and they have been seen as very disastrous because they are frankly unnecessary. Many people are truly heartbroken about the whole thing, and want something to be done to change the trend of suicide in the country.

We really have staggering suicide numbers in the country which shows that our people are crying out for help and need any kind of assistance that they can get to change their lives because this is definitely not it, we have seen many of such cases and they are alarming.

A learner, 15, from Ndwendwe, who had been expelled for wearing traditional clothing, ended her life despite the department of education allowing her to return to school and this is very tragic because we cannot blame the school and neither can we blame her.

Clearly this matter was not handled in a proper professional manner, and perhaps that is the reason why she has decided to end her own life. Unfortunately, we have never really heard of such a thing before and it makes us wonder what is truly going on and what has gotten these children caught up in such a situation

The learner claimed that because of her ancestral calling, she was compelled to wear Ibhayi over her uniform. Clearly this is something that means a lot to her and she wanted to express her tradition on a manner, where she would feel like she was being someone who was devout to her culture. But the school rules do not allow such activities to be conducted, and unfortunately they had to review her case with the department before allowing her to continue.

The provincial education department expressed its sorrow at the loss of the 15-year-old student from Nombika High in the iLembe area, sadly she took her own life before this matter could be resolved. And this is something that could have been avoided probably the teachers feel bad for their actions, because this is such an inconsequential thing to have happened.

Abandoned is a show on Mzansi Magic hosted by the humble and beautiful Phumeza Mdabe. She helps people reunite with the parents who left them behind and it always a teary reunion. However, this final episode was quite the doozy.
A man with 2 wives and 12 children decided to runaway.

There’s a phrase in IsiZulu that describes Johannesburg as the “banging walls”, meaning the place where things are always raving. There is always a way to have fun. This is likely the thrill that lured Monyabisi to leave his huge family behind. He left without ever to return and left them in a poverty stricken environment.

It seemed quite callous to act this way. But I’ve noticed the men on the show never see anything wrong with what they’re doing/done. He was welcomed back but it didn’t sit well with me. He avoided responsibility and had a vague reason for leaving behind his family.

He also avoided meeting his son, choosing to instead make his way to the home he hadn’t stepped foot in for 20 years. It wasn’t the actions of someone who was oblivious, he knew what he was doing.

Abandoned is based on a painful premise of children looking for their parents who left them behind. This type of show needs a very emotional stable and kind person at the helm and Phumeza encapsulates this perfectly. She can relate to the stories and offers support.
This week people were praising her for her work.

This season has been filled with the highest highs and lowest lows. I recall the season premiere having a mother who was dodging Phumeza like a bullet and sending her all across Johannesburg. She still stayed patient and kind throughout it all.

SAD NOTICE: A learner from Nombika reportedly committed suicide: Learn some of her experiences

A learner from Nombika High School , under ILembe District reportedly took away her own life . The Kwa-Zulu Natal Education Department issued a media statement expressing worry over the tragic passing of the learner .

The department issued messages of condolences to the family and loved ones . It was made known in the media statement that she had completed writing the June 2022 examinations .

The learner’s experiences months before the tragedy

The past months were not a good one for the learner . Reports that were issued by KZNTV News alleged that at one point , the learner got suspended from school as a result of her attire.

As the learner had an ancestral calling , she had to wear “ibhayi” over her uniform . However , the Principal would not have it in his school , leading to her staying at home . However , a few days ago , the provincial Department of Education reportedly intervened and she was allowed to attend school .

It is still not known what led to the tragedy , but the Provincial Department of Education indicated that it sent a team of officials to conduct an investigation .It is heartbreaking to note what the learner went through in her entire short life .

She may have had an ancestral calling , but what if she did not want to be part of it ? Children are made to do things that they may not be comfortable with in the name of tradition . Despite the respect for the African tradition and its customs , children’s needs also need to be considered . The learner must have gone through a lot and found it hard to soldier on .

Limpopo people are saddened by the death of Refilwe Malope from Sekhukhune who’s body was retrieved from a shaft mine, the reason why the suspects did such a horrible thing are not even known by anyone because they are completely unreasonable.

Economic Freedom Fighters in the Limpopo province were saddened by the demise of Refilwe Malope from Sekhukhune, it s alleged that suspects kidnapped her and then proceeded to murder and dump her body inside a a mine shaft with no regard for the pain that they are causing.

Her lifeless body was retrieved by the authorities after considerable effort was made to interrogate the suspects about the circumatances that led to her demise so you can understand that this is not a small thing to have happened.

This mine shaft is in Benoni, Gauteng and her body was rexovered yesterday along sure the body of an unknown person, you can just imagine the murders that are happening in out society are seriously compromising and disturbing.

I think throwing her in that hole meant that the suspects were trying to hide the evidence, if you recall very well it was alleged that she was forced into the car isn’t it. So this lead straight to a murder that was afflicted by the suspects, they we intensively questioned about their involvement in this matter.

Police Department please do something about these our sisters who are killed on a daily basis, and now the authorities have to ensure that they are doing the right thing and ensure that this matter is dealt with properly.

SAPS must deal with thugs in whatever way until they talk about and they probably used violence in order to get the suspects to point, where they dumped the body and generally the team handling this case did a wonderful job now our justice system must give them life sentence.

Philemon Masinga’s daughter shares a heartfelt tribute to her father on his birthday

Ranked as one of the all time leading goalscorers of Bafana Bafana with 18 strikes to his name, football legend Philemon “Chippa” Masinga is celebrating his 52nd heavenly birthday, today.

The 1996 AFCON winning forward tragedly succumbed to his death on 13 January 2019 at Johannesburg Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

To mark this special day, Philemon Masinga’s eldest daughter, Tinyiko, one of two, whom he shares with his first wife, Carol Puleng, has shared a heartfelt tribute to the football legend on Instagram.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Tinyiko Masinga, decided to share touching photos of her parents when they were getting married in 1995. On the day Tinyiko would then go to caption the shared pictures with, “for my dad’s heavenly birthday, I’m posting gems I found on my grans house”.

Meanwhile, during his illustrious career which spanned over a decade, the late Klerksdorp born footballer did not only earn cult status at Bafana Bafana but even at Mamelodi Sundowns.
