Mangaliso Ngema was arrested for raping his sister

A local publication has revealed that the former Lithapo and Generations actor Mangaliso Ngema was charged with raping his sister and has been released on R5000 bail.

Ngema first made headlines this week (5 June) when blogger Musa Khawula revealed that the actor repeatedly raped his sister Queen Ngema and tried to silence her.

The controversial actor Mangaliso Ngema who’s known for his roles in Generations and Lithapo reportedly appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 9 June after being charged with raping his sister for two years.

A local publication also added that he was arrested by Sandton Police Station last week for allegedly raping his sister whose identity was revealed by Musa Khawula.

Queen Ngema accuses his brother Mangaliso Ngema of repeatedly raping her and trying to silence her.

Queen says she’s opened a case against Mangaliso and is currently at a place of safety.

Queen alleges she was assaulted when Mangaliso’s wife was out of the country.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) South Gauteng spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane confirmed that the thespian was released on bail after being arrested for rape.

Mjonondwane told the publication that the actor would appear on August 4 this year, possibly to tender a plea.

His sister alleged that he asked her to move in with him after she had lost her child in a car accident and that he sexually violated her while his wife was out of the country.

It is believed she’s moved out of his house after opening a case against him and is now hiding in a place of safety.

Queen Ngema alleges the many accounts of rape started 13 years. She had lost her son in an accident and Mangaliso offered her a place of refuge so she heals.

A local publication also reported Ngema in 2020 when his Lithapo co-star Lorraine Moropa accused him of sexual harassment and was later fired by Quizzical Pictures with immediate effect.

Moropa who currently plays the character of Olerato in Mzansi Magic’s The Queen alleged that the thespian would grab his genitals while looking at her backside.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, she said it was painful that someone who was supposed to protect and guide her in the entertainment industry violated her human rights.

Moropa accused the colleague of undressing her by the way he looks at her and of grabbing his genitals on a set while looking at her “a**s”.

14-year-old Botswana school girl sleeps with 2 men in two days. Both men aged 48 and 23 arrested

A 14-year-old school girl has grabbed the headlines in her country after it emerged that she slept with two men in two days.

All her shenanigans were exposed after the men she slept with appeared in court facing defilement charges.

Defilement is a very serious offense in Botswana and the two men face a lengthy time in prison.

It is alleged that the 14-year-old girl of Semitwe village near Marapong, first slept with a 48-year-old man on Sunday afternoon.

The girl was not named as she is still a minor and the court upheld the right to protect her identity.

The following day (30 May), she proceeded to a younger man’s house, aged 23, where she spent the night and was allegedly defiled again.

It is believed that the girl had run away from home and she decided to return on the third day.

When she returned, her parents quizzed her about her whereabouts. She did not divulge anything and they took her to the police were a can of worms was unearthed.

According to police spokesperson Boipuso Baatweng, “Upon interrogation, the girl told the police that she slept with a 48 year old man before going to spend the night with the other man. The two were located and found, they are now helping the police with the investigations.”

Both men are currently in police custody pending their next court appearance.

36-year-old Sibongile Msibi is one of the victims, her body was found dumped not far from her home with multiple stab wounds. And it is unfortunate for this young lady who had her life ahead of her and was basically planning to live and enjoy her life, but she has since been unfortunately killed by this individual.
